I haven't posted for several years after my comments were unceremonially erased by moderators. I am a conservative who voted for Trump and hope to vote for Pompeo. So my pedigree is established. I'm afraid that FreeRepublic is becoming a nucleus for some very bad information about covid. I've had several uvaccinated friends die in their 40's from covid. This dangerous possible bioweapon is very dangerous. I am vaccinated and am glad I am. My 101 year old mother in law survived a bout with covid because of her vaccinations. The vaccine is a rough one. I had 2-3 days of side effects leaving some scars on my shoulder. The MRNA vaccines. The vaccine (more like a prophylactic therapeutic ) does not protect you from the disease. It only mitigates symptoms. I'm saying all this to urge conservatives that are in risk categories to get vaccinated. We have already lost at least 2 talk show hosts and Herman Cain to this insidious Wuhan flu. So go ahead and flame me and join the suffering ones from Idaho.

Also, there is a widely held belief here that India magically wiped out Covid with Ivermectin when in fact India has removed HCQ and Ivermectin from its treatment protocols after studies found that these drugs have little to no effect on Covid-related mortality or clinical recovery of the patient.

India is NOT the monolithic state that you pretend it to be.

There are different provinces pursuing different solutions.

As in the US, some provinces are controlled by Commies, with much the same Covid outcomes.

Others accept as gospel the theory that the vaccines are responsible for the spread of the Delta variant and deny that vaccinated people who contract Covid have significantly better outcomes than the unvaccinated.

Anecdotal, but see post #230 for a rebuttal to this statement. "Light colds" for the super-spreaders...

The whole "because of bad medical advice" cuts two ways. Healthy people who are not overweight or "soft" aka out of shape are doing ok. Initial clinical trial ends May 2023 and only includes healthy people.

Phase 1/2/3 is what it says. Is running Phases 1, 2 and 3 concurrently normal? No, it's not. That's why those of us that have spent many hours researching this stuff would prefer to take a pass on the jab that TPTB are bent on making mandatory. Ivermectin/HCQ and nebulized hydrogen peroxide EARLY and with accompanying vitamins does as good as the vax for healthy, active people.

The virus makes you make foreign proteins also. The real scary thing is that the mRNA in the vaccine is not the natural Covid mRNA. It was altered so that it would be more stable in the cell and not be destroyed. It would therefore survive long enough to code for the spike protein. Another chemical tweak is that the nucleotides in the vaccine mRNA in the vaccine were altered such that the spike protein manufactured is more”rigid”, and gets a better immune response.
If you want to read more...look up chemical and engineering news(c&en)...and search for covid..and tweak...article should come up. The only big reason I could see why the companies took this approach instead of a classic approach was because they wanted a product that they could hold a patent on. But please don’t tread on my cellular mechanisms to make altered foreign proteins.

Sounds like you have experienced quite a bit of “bad luck” regarding COVID.

I am anti-vax, for COVID. I have lost a MIL to COVID on Jan 6 while idiots gave leftists fodder forever, but I and my immediate family circle had just survived bouts of it. I’ve known many others too including MILs relatives who survived. Also elderly friend with many more problems than MIL.

It can be random, but the CFR nor the general experience of every case fails to impress me that I should take a basically unknown vax.

I do appreciate other opinions, but I am just skeptical of things that have been minimally tested. That is all. I don’t see the benefit of this vs a minimally risky disease.

Old people who are fat have cardo-pulmonary conditions, cancer, diabetes, auto-immune conditions, etc., who got the vaccine are naturally going to die in a few years from their existing conditions.   How are you going to know or prove if a vaccine had a factor in something that was statically going to happen anyway?   But you just keeping posting it.   I still need a good laugh now and again.
