I haven't posted for several years after my comments were unceremonially erased by moderators. I am a conservative who voted for Trump and hope to vote for Pompeo. So my pedigree is established. I'm afraid that FreeRepublic is becoming a nucleus for some very bad information about covid. I've had several uvaccinated friends die in their 40's from covid. This dangerous possible bioweapon is very dangerous. I am vaccinated and am glad I am. My 101 year old mother in law survived a bout with covid because of her vaccinations. The vaccine is a rough one. I had 2-3 days of side effects leaving some scars on my shoulder. The MRNA vaccines. The vaccine (more like a prophylactic therapeutic ) does not protect you from the disease. It only mitigates symptoms. I'm saying all this to urge conservatives that are in risk categories to get vaccinated. We have already lost at least 2 talk show hosts and Herman Cain to this insidious Wuhan flu. So go ahead and flame me and join the suffering ones from Idaho.

If indeed the adverse effects are minimal and even statistically insignificant they’ve done a sucky job expressing that.

I acquired COVID-19 sometime in February 2019. Had flu-like symptoms for one day then 10 days of coughing.
For me, it was no big deal. Just like any other flu. I am not overweight and have no comorbidity’s.
The thing is, COVID affects people differently. It is insane to push an untested pseudo vaccine on everyone. The vast majority of people do not need it at all.

We keep our immune systems at the highest level, and this is coming from someone over weight, high blood pressure and bad cholesterol levels, I have never gotten the sniffles. That happens sometimes on threads on FR re: unvaccinated people that die. It’s usually done by people who do not believe in vaccinations. Someone takes a look at a photo (sometimes only a head shot) and will post that person is obese, or morbidly obese, and because of that the chances are good they had diabetes, etc. It comes across at times as dismissive of the person’s death.

Well that is an opinion now isn’t it.
In 2020 I personally helped care for dozens, even hundreds of suspected Covid Patients in the ICUs. I am telling you here that these Residents, Fellows, even Attendings have been guessing on how to contend with these sick people.
Every room (all suspected Covid or positive) was different. One Patient had high lung pressures, the next room might have had low pressures. We used virtually every conceivable ventilation mode.
Then they started playing with Nitric Oxide and even ECMO.(ECMO is sort of like a dialysis of the lungs for those who need a hint here.) Mostly stuff did nothing so it was a constant chasing of the tail, tweaking the ventilator numbers all day long. People were Hypertensive then others were Hypotensive.
Just about every positive victim had a Hx (History) of some other illness such as Interstitial Lung Disease, Renal Failure, Hepatic Failure, Cancer, or any other thing that might be conceivable. Every case was unique and there was no universal solution.
Now the Docs have allowed themselves to become dependent upon this total Scam Artist Fauci and his FDA protocols who is clearly without a clue, He and that fraud organization.
I would not take these vaccinations even if they put me before a firing squad. It is freaking poison.

I don’t know what you may have written to have your post ‘disappeared’; but if it was ‘several years ago’ it certain wasn’t about Covid.
Nobody here is going to agree with you about everything - this isn’t a lockstep, hive-mind sort of forum (even though it sometimes may seem like one.)
Just grow a thick skin, and stick around.
What the hell does that mean? The elderly and those with certain health conditions are far vulnerable to dying from Covid than younger, healthier people. It's not even arguable.
