Twenty years on, and it STILL feels like a gut-punch to me. I'm sure I'm not alone.
ON SEPTEMBER 11TH FROM 8:46am-10:28am...everyone on the internet should be silent, no postings or chat, from the time the first plane hit until the last building fell. Do this in memory of all who perished twenty years ago, today. Please remember the fallen and their families on this day. 🇺🇸

I drove past a house today that had 13 American Flags (full sized!) on their lawn, along the edge of the road.
Teared up. BIG time.
Not EVERYONE in America sucks - though the Enemy Media likes to dwell on that over all the GOOD that happens every day. Every. Day.

Wonderful Saturday greetings, Diana, as always! Even on such a sad occasion, a warm ‘hello’ is appreciated.
My Mother, Elaine, as a little kid, and my Grandma Anita. There were three other kids after Mom, but not for 14 years. Same two parents. No one knows why there was such an age gap. I was in my 20's before I got a First Cousin. Mom was born in 1937, so this is probably from 1940 or '41. Grandma sewed all of her own clothes and all of the clothes for the four kids, too.
A lot of folks need a hug & a smile today. Thanks!

We hope you are having a good 2021 growing season. Many gardeners are planning what spring-blooming bulbs to plant this fall. To keep you best informed we want to give you an update on a global supply chain issue that is impacting our spring bulb shipments.
Our premium bulbs are sourced from Holland and due to extreme weather issues during harvest as well as international shipping challenges the spring-blooming bulb delivery has been delayed. We remain optimistic for a late September arrival with early October shipments to your homes. This will still allow time for fall planting and a wonderful show of blooming flowers next spring.
With our Holland partners, we are working hard to get shipments out as early as possible without jeopardizing the quality of the bulbs. Our family business appreciates your patience and understanding as we do our best to adapt and keep delays to a minimum.

I can’t believe I’m already prepping parts of the garden for next year already.
Most of the produce is in. The potatoes still need to ripen some and the pumpkins are doing great.
The next week and a half looks like good growing weather yet so the pumpkin crop is not done.
But otherwise, everything is on hold.
And I have turnips the size of softballs at least.
Some cool weather crops still need to come in.
I almost lost my Brussell Sprouts to cabbage worms, but I took care of them and the plants seem to be recovering nicely.
