Vaccine Mandate at Local Military Base

As some of you might know, I am a federal employee and I work at a military installation in the central USA.

With all of the talk of vaccine mandates everyone has been on edge. Many are pissed, but the vast majority are scared of what is happening not only in the world, this nation, but locally as well.

Today, members of the military here received their “marching order” sort to speak. What follows is the directive that came down from local leadership. It’s been edited to eliminate names and items that could be considered sensitive information, but I think you’ll get the jist of what is happening to our military members:

To ensure we meet expectations directed from higher headquarters and get members vaccinated, I want to have a gathering in the afternoon on Sunday. This assembly will be an answer and question session for all to participate in, and we will answer any questions not covered previous to today. We will also cover a written order that will be issued this Sunday to members present who have not been vaccinated. In addition, those who are presently undecided must now decide whether to volunteer to get either the J&J or Moderna vaccines. If military members want to retire instead of getting the vaccine, they need to submit an application for retirement by COB Sunday with a retirement date of December 2nd. They will be excused from duty until then. If any date later than 2 Dec is chosen, the vaccination is required.

We want to guarantee our members know we value their health and welfare. They must also understand we are a military organization. We have been given an order and will carry that out.

As I said, I cut out some verbiage so it won’t give away my location or the military installation I work at, but the message is clear; you either get the jab or you’re out. It’s that simple. This is the world that Biden has created. He said he would not mandate vaccinations, and he lied! I want that punk of a man brought up on charges of lying to the American population, but of course we know that’s the native tongue for most politicians.

you probably can. It has a pretty good patriot network there. We go on weekends remodelling a very old farmhouse in their historic “brick district” . In year five...just picking away at it.

What we call Deep East Texas. A very small town called Sour Lake. Of course that covers a huge swath of Hardin County since your address is determined by which post office handles your mail. If I were moving here new, I would prefer further north along the east side of Texas. Up around Jasper and north it turns to rolling hills (mostly very low hills) as opposed to our rice paddy land here in the deep. If you're looking at more of the hill country though, you must at least see the area around Garner State Park which is west of San Antonio.

Agreed. This slippery slope was obvious by end of April 2020, and anyone who has pushed vaccines or shutdowns, or mask mandates or did anything other than enthusiastically support Trump and the Republicans last year are 100% complicit. It was obvious what was at stake the past 17 months.

I managed to get a hold of safety minion for the inside scoop and it’s about the mandate.

At least I will meet the higher ups over this get things out in the open.

I’ll be tested regularly or get fired at some point. There are too many quirky things wrong with me that mandated super secret sauce I don’t don’t trust or need to take a chance on.

If someone wants the needle, their choice.

I’ve been in jams before and survived and if I am supposed to keep going, I’ll find a way.

There are going to be lots of lawsuits — especially if the shots are not even approved.

These shots do not even prevent transmission of the disease.

I’m going to do just that, I have two letters ready to go, but we’ve also been told that they probably won’t be accepted or approved.

I have two exemption letters at the ready, just waiting to submit them. Not confident either will be accepted. If they force me out, I will indeed sue, and Biden’s name will be at the very top of the paperwork.

Say that you will not obey an illegal order. These forced vaccinations will be proven to be illegal and unconstitutional. Once vaccinated it cannot be reversed. It may have lifelong negative health repercussions. So while we wait for the courts to decide the legality of this order I can not/will not allow this dangerous, useless, vaccine in my body.

Was stationed in San Antonio back in the early to mid 1980's, Brooks AFB. Prefer not to go that far south. Thought about up near the panhandle of Oklahoma, but I know that's tornado alley up that way too.

Whatever happens, if I indeed lose my employment here, I'm going to scratch together whatever cash I can (unlaid leave, TSP withdrawl, etc) sell everything here except my laptop, personal items and clothing and probably head south. God will provide, and I'm actually at peace with whatever happens.

I've only been up around the Lubbock area once and that was many years ago. I remember it as hot, dry and desolate, but differences of opinion is what started horse races.

If this is true, precedent is set. In my opinion, the resident, even if his placement in the position was valid, does not have the authority to force the shots on the military. Of course there are a number of but lickers that will act on it anyway (misspellings intended).

The enemy of the free people owns currently owns most civil institutions and industries exclusively - legal system, government, education, medical, communications, tech, financial. They intend to run any and all opposition out of society into a class of “untouchables” (for lack of a better term). The CDC has shown through its actions, with the full support of the Leftist Administration, that it thinks it has the justification to close down business, rob Americans of their livelihoods, and force landlords to go broke and file for bankruptcy because of actions put into place NOT by the legal legislative branches of the US Government or the State Governments.

Invasive, intrusive, and destructive actions put into place by the CDC and enforced by the various governments.

This is why I see vaccine mandates as a line in the sand.

A government that can rationalize a justification to force you to undergo an invasive medical procedure against your will for something like Covid can easily rationalize nearly any justification for anything.

That same government will not only do nearly anything FOR you "to protect you", they will do anything TO you.

I was a federal employee (before retirement) and I decided I wanted to move south. More precisely, my wife and I agreed on a go/no go strategy before buying a house.

I made the final list for seven different federal jobs in the south in a three month period (my qualifications are excellent).

I was chosen for none of them—they all were awarded to minority women.

So—we decided ok—we stay up north where we are and buy a house way out in the boonies. We are still there and everything is great.

It all works out..
