As some of you might know, I am a federal employee and I work at a military installation in the central USA.
With all of the talk of vaccine mandates everyone has been on edge. Many are pissed, but the vast majority are scared of what is happening not only in the world, this nation, but locally as well.
Today, members of the military here received their “marching order” sort to speak. What follows is the directive that came down from local leadership. It’s been edited to eliminate names and items that could be considered sensitive information, but I think you’ll get the jist of what is happening to our military members:
To ensure we meet expectations directed from higher headquarters and get members vaccinated, I want to have a gathering in the afternoon on Sunday. This assembly will be an answer and question session for all to participate in, and we will answer any questions not covered previous to today. We will also cover a written order that will be issued this Sunday to members present who have not been vaccinated. In addition, those who are presently undecided must now decide whether to volunteer to get either the J&J or Moderna vaccines. If military members want to retire instead of getting the vaccine, they need to submit an application for retirement by COB Sunday with a retirement date of December 2nd. They will be excused from duty until then. If any date later than 2 Dec is chosen, the vaccination is required.
We want to guarantee our members know we value their health and welfare. They must also understand we are a military organization. We have been given an order and will carry that out.
As I said, I cut out some verbiage so it won’t give away my location or the military installation I work at, but the message is clear; you either get the jab or you’re out. It’s that simple. This is the world that Biden has created. He said he would not mandate vaccinations, and he lied! I want that punk of a man brought up on charges of lying to the American population, but of course we know that’s the native tongue for most politicians.
That is making me goddamn hopping mad reading that.
I cannot say what I think should happen to any REMF or perfumed prince who would write a memo like that.
I cannot verbalize it. Cannot. Not here.

What does one’s MOS have to do with the order?
It’s coming from the CINC.
I still wonder about the fact that the only available vaccines are those under the EUA, which states you cannot be compelled to take them as they are still considered experimental.
The only FDA “approved” vax is labeled Comirnaty and is not generally available in the US
It seems stolen elections have consequences.

Only following orders, like good little nazis. And of course, they never felt the slightest need to follow President Trump’s orders. Whether it was leave Syria, discharge trannies, to “knock it off” on Eddie Gallagher, stop the communist riots of 2020, the US Military ignored him and obstructed him at every turn.
I’m glad to see they are lead by incompetents. Much better since they are America’s most likely enemy we will face.
Must not obey unlawful order. If they can force military to get jabbed, what willl prevent them from ordering the military to shoot civilians?

Does UCMJ say anything about what constitutes an unlawful order?
Sadly I doubt this rises to whatever standard there is because “unlawful” is different than “lawful that I just don’t like”.
That’s exactly what I plan on them doing. I might only have until December 2nd myself before I’m out the door. If that happens, I will sue the government.
I would like for someone to point me to where unlawful orders are void, and also explain why the present vaccine mandate is unlawful. That way I can give folks some ammunition to work with.

I have heard that is purely a myth since the source can only be found on a Twitter account. But I will check.
