It is a fat soluble vitamin. Digestive issues or not having a gallbladder can limit absorption.

In this environment, my advice to someone who is either vaxxed/unvaxxed or previously not exposed (recovered):
At the first sign of fever, engage treatments at home widely discussed/posted at length here at FR and, most importantly, don’t be a dumbass and refuse to stay isolated (fever = communicable).
Fever is the tell. Always has been. No such thing as ‘asymptomatic spread’ (that was CCP propaganda used by Fauxi et al to justify all the BS lockdown/masking).
It ain’t rocket science.
In my own virus case - pre-Delta - my fever appeared out of nowhere, not a single person present in the conference room the day prior became ill, and the fever started slow/low, accelerating to 104 within 24 hours.
My personal mistake was waiting, but this was March 2020. And, to summarize, my illness was still only 72 hours to fever breaking after starting my own ‘treatment’ after roughly 36 hours from fever onset.
There’s no excuse for ‘waiting’ now, and those consulting medical services must DEMAND treatments not outlined in recklessly negligent NIH protocols.
Most importantly, an intelligent person already has what’s required in their medicine cabinet BEFORE becoming ill.
The converse of the latter merits the result of a life/death IQ test for anyone ‘at-risk’ of complications (pretty much the ONLY group subject to risk of severe illness and death).

I don’t get the whole ‘dire circumstance’ thing with these Covid cases. Aren’t the hospitals using anti-virals? Covid usually comes in with pneumonia and possibly influenza. I was on 7 anti virals and anti biotics when I was hospitalized with Covid, pneumonia, influenza A and a heart attack in Jan ‘20. Guess I was lucky. Smart doctors ended it with a quad bypass to help organ healing. Their gambit worked. I’ve got the Covid long tail symptoms though.
IMO the biggest thing in avoiding Covid illness is keeping viral load low enough to allow the initial macrophage immune response to kill it. If there’s too much virus for that antibodies are required. But those take up to 2 weeks to spin up. Having a low, consistent exposure to Covid+ populations is the best way to keep up anti-bodies.
A sudden burst of Covid is the worst of all. This is why masks are good imo. They reduce the viral load. The more crowded a place is the more likely I am to mask.
I certainly hope no one gets it but arguing over masking is stupid imo. In the free state of FL I’ve never seen ppl making an issue out of it -wearing one or not wearing one.
I’m J&J vaxxed for work requirement but that’s no panacea either. Plenty of dangerous side effects to deal with like clotting.

Employers may be forcing employees to take it, but their are exemptions and you have at will to quit. This isn’t China where they’re forcing it. Do what you want I don’t care.
Um...you do know that letters after a name do NOT automatically confer intelligence, logical reasoning, diagnostic abilities or adherence to the scientific method, right???
Some of the dumbest things I’ve ever read/heard came from such people masquerading as ‘authorities’ on topics being outlined/discussed.

However, if such qualifications make you feel better, I highly suggest - as opposed to ‘dare’, albeit a fitting statement - that you watch the video shared by rolling_stone, with presentation by qualified medical professionals knowledgeable about such details.
And if you see fit to find fault with their presentation, please share your lucid thoughts on their failures.
