With all due respect you aren’t paying attention. The “Social Research” school is also known as the Frankfurt School, it is all about marxist communist claptrap and was designed that way. They were kicked out of you know where by you know who and allowed to emigrate to America in the 1930s, where they installed themselves at universities like Columbia. They showed their gratitude by sabotage. Your schools and government are filled with it. “Critical Theory” is a munition, specifically designed to destroy society.
Reason #11,347 why I toss UT-Austin alumni correspondence in the trash unopened.

Biography Spenser studies modern Arab intellectual history. He is broadly interested in Arab thought as it pertains to decolonization, political metaphysics, consciousness, subjectivity, and temporality in the twentieth century Arab Middle East. His research is primarily concerned with the question of the spirit and soul in modern thought. Specifically, he seeks to reconstruct and historically situate politico-theological ideologies such as Baʿthism and similar thought-forms in the Arab World and beyond.

t.u. was never conservative, but they used to be much less liberal. The first name for their stadium was War Memorial Stadium in honor of all the students who dropped out in 1917 and 1918 to serve in the military during WW 1. My grand father was one of them. My uncles went through t.u. in the 1950’s and it was pretty even politically then. I think that the school started leaving the tracks in the late 60’s and early 70’s.

He’s hardly a professor. He got an M.A. in 2020 from the New School for Social Research in NYC, and started graduate school at UT last fall. He is a graduate student.
