Did you see the interview with Trump where the host suggested that he run for the House of Representatives from Florida? Coattails would give him a majority; then he could block everything that Biden wanted and be able to sit behind Biden as he stumbled through the next SOTU speech.

I thought it was a great plan.

He would be talking to us right now. Yeah I miss him more than I miss anyone not of my family or tight circle of friends. He was so smart, so will to just say it.

I tried. But like the rest, none of them have any real talent to analyze. They read the news and offer an obvious opinion. Rush’s gift was he actually dissected the information and then analyze it segment by segment, and then somehow through that gift, he was able to present it all together to make you really think.

The real tragedy was that Rush claimed to have a EIB school of broadcasting where there were no graduates, because the learning never ended. but not 1 person to can fill his shoes. All these talking heads have resumes ex-CIA, ex-FBI, but no ability to connect. No talent as a communicator Levin comes close, but boy I miss Rush. 27 years of daily listening. Now, I could care less what they think, because they really don’t. Spend more passion pushing crap for advertizers.

Rush wasn’t my favorite host, but I don’t bother tuning into radio during the 12-3 timeslot now that he’s gone.

I tried to like Dan Bongino since he's now on in Rush's spot here in the Chicago radio market, but I just can't.

It's the same complaint crap day in and day out.

Rush was definitely one of a kind. No substitutes measure up to his level.

Rush had the experience of age. He learned over the years the reality of communism and all of the other isms that destroy any country that they take control of. No one expected another Rush but these two, Clay and Buck, are simply not the right choice for hosting at the high level required for even the guest hosts who subed for Rush. Sorry, they both are probably very good for local venues but lack the personal appeal and confidence and the wisdom, gained from experience, that a more mature person would more likely have. Trying to be nice here as I do not like to denigrate anybody but it is what it is.
