The creators of “South Park” made a major announcement this morning during a conversation with Gov. Jared Polis – they’re in the process of buying Casa Bonita.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone have said that they wanted to buy the iconic restaurant in the past, but the owner had reported that he was focused on reopening and not looking to sell at the moment.
“As of about an hour ago, pending bankruptcy proceedings that have to happen in a couple of months, we’ve come to an agreement with the owner and we bought it,” Stone said.

Was there as a kid and again more recently. It’s weird in a good sort of way that is fun for families, but the food is terrible. And by terrible I mean even Taco Bell beats it by a mile.

Forgot about the sopapillas. Yes, those were edible. Everything else sucked.

I remember when they opened the first time in Tulsa. I believe it was where the Shopper’s Fair used to be.
Ate there quite a few times.

I’ve been to both. The one in Denver is way cooler. Good memories.

I like how the guy interviewing Matt & Trey said that “we all know Man-Bear-Pig and climate change to be true”.
Uhm - yeah, the climate changes, dumbkoff. How do you think we went from tropical dinosaurs to ice ages, back to tropical/sub-tropical climates?
Man had nothing to do with them then, or now.

Sounds like the Chuck E. Cheese of “Mexican Food”*. * If you consider “Mexican Food” to be a hamburger in a crunchy folded over Dorito. LOL!

I was stationed in Denver for training. What I learned while I was stationed there was that in Colorado, they don’t know what Mexican food is (avoid it at all costs).

Maybe they can save “Raisins” too, now that Epstein’s dead and the Podesta boys are laying low.

If you consider “Mexican Food” to be a hamburger in a crunchy folded over Dorito. LOL! Dang! Now I'm craving for a homemade hamburger with taco seasoning inside a giant, crunchy, store bought, folded Dorito. But with some pre-grated cheese from out of a plastic bag. So good!
