Don’t quit. Get fired.
It makes a big difference.
I work in a field that currently has an unemployment rate of 1.6%. In many conversations with my peers over the last six months I haven't heard of a single case of a private employer requiring vaccines.
It’s my understanding when you get one of the vaccines you are required to sign a waiver of liability.
Try telling your company that you are perfectly willing to take the vaccine but you will not sign anything.
Religious exemption might be easy (there is a legal case, I think, which established that “religion” is bigger than your pastor down at the building with the steeple. It’s not up to him. Also, it goes beyond doctrine. If the Pope is OK with the vaccine, that doesn’t mean every Catholic has to be OK with the vaccine. I think there is a lot of wiggle room on this, and the government (and your employer) is NOT the judge of your theology.
Thanks for the info.
My brother was doing a bunch of Top Secret crap for the Military, they asked him to take a drug test finally and he walked over to his briefcase, put his stuff in it and starting walking out the door, they stopped him and asked what he was doing, he looked at him and said I don’t need this Job, I was doing it as a favor and will Never Pee in a cup for anyone. The spooks freaked out and told him to never mind and they won’t ask again. He finished the Job, everyone has seen his work!
Religious exemption. I too work in high tech defense. If Religious exemptions don’t work, I will be done
DON’T QUIT!!!
Force them to fire you for non-compliance with the mandate.
Make sure you have evidence that your job loss was due to non-compliance with the mandate.
Then sue them.
The worm will turn and those people relaxing on the taxpayers dime will find nobody will hire them when they see the gaps on the resume. I know I won’t be hiring them.
I know. They have a lot of work and can’t find qualified people.
There is enough public information for anyone to make an informed decision who is willing to part from the party line. Follow the science, not the politics.
The military acknowledges some people have hypersensitivity or allergy to vaccines:
“Before administration of any medication, including vaccines, determine if the individual has previously shown any unusual degree of adverse reaction or allergy to it or any specific component of the vaccine or its packaging (for example eggs, gelatin, preservatives, latex.) Review the manufacturers package inserts and reference materials for product specific information.”
This requirement cannot be met for COVID vaccines because the vaccine package inserts are blank. This provides a reasonable basis for anyone concerned about an allergic reaction or anaphylaxis to abstain from the vaccine. Polyethylene glycol and polysorbate allergies are a common concern with the SARS-CoV2 vaccines.
Pilots and flight crews with risk of vision impairments and blood clots at altitude should be given particular consideration with the SARS-CoV2 vaccine.
“Don’t think much of a “religious exemption” based on a gross exaggeration if not outright lie.“
Do you mean that the mRNA vaccines were not “made with” fetal cells? True. But they were tested thoroughly in production using HEK-293 cells, which were extracted from a living baby (and many others died in this process). The vaccines would not exist now without those babies dying.
Asking whether or not being an extra level removed is still a sin is itself an exercise of the religious conscience.
Those shots are not vaccines. That is the point. They do not prevent covid and they have horrid side effects. If this guy gets that shot, he will need to get another and then another booster. There is no end to the “jabs” and they do cause clotting and other dangerous health issues.
Just get another contract
Claim religious exemption. Then, anything extra..testing... is discrimination. Lawsuit city if they don’t accept it. Cannot require minister signature. Must be seriously held belief.
We are writing one for hubbie...right to work state..it’s the only recourse.
Contractors can get let for any reason they want. We are truly canaries in the coal mine.
Although I don't know if I would try to bribe (I'm risk-averse to stuff like that), I have heard of healthcare workers who are, shall we say, "flexible".
Work through all possible options, and if it comes right down to it, and you need to eventually make that appointment to get the jab, I would show up at the medical office, be really nice to people, roll up your sleeve, and then say, "Wait a minute. I really don't want this. Can we ... you know ... just skip the actual jab? All I really need is paperwork."
There really is a chance that you'll get lucky. And why not try? You're at the office to get a jab -- a last ditch effort to avoid it is worth it and you have nothing to lose.
“If Religious exemptions don’t work, I will be done”
I understand they’re not accepting religious exemptions.
There are lots of opportunities at this time. I wonder if this mandate is going to be a trend.
