Study shows that anti-parasitic drug slows pancreatic cancer in mice (black seed oil component)

The seeds of the plant, Nigella sativa, have been used for centuries as a traditional remedy for multiple medical conditions, including inflammation and infections. Now, an Australian-first research review article has found it could be used to treat COVID-19.

"There is growing evidence from modeling studies that thymoquinone, an active ingredient of Nigella sativa, more commonly known as the fennel flower, can stick to the COVID- 19 virus spike protein and stop the virus from causing a lung infection.

"It may also block the 'cytokine' storm that affects seriously ill patients who are hospitalized with COVID-19," said Professor Kaneez Fatima Shad..

Thymoquinone has been extensively studied in laboratories, including animal studies. These studies have shown that thymoquinone can moderate our immune system in a good way, by preventing pro-inflammation chemicals such as interleukins from been released.

This gives thymoquinone a potential role as a treatment for allergic conditions such as asthma, eczema, arthritis conditions including rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and even possibly multiple sclerosis.

There have been many barriers to the development of Nigella sativa as a therapeutic agent in large part due to its poor natural gastrointestinal absorption.

"…Furthermore, the drug has recently been successfully given to patients as a nasal spray and topical paste," said Dr. Wissam Soubra, co-author.

Nigella sativa has been shown to be helpful in treating high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes mellitus. As an anti-inflammatory treatment, Nigella sativa has also been found to help patients with allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, eczema, osteoarthritis and childhood epilepsy.

Nigella sativa has also been proven to be effective in a laboratory environment in killing bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus that can cause a range of mild to severe infections if they enter the skin, and viruses including influenza.

If it can’t be patented, into the blackhole it goes, never to see the light of day forever more.

Right now my biggest question is whether it can stop the itching of a mosquito bite.

L-Acetyl Cystine does much of this. I wonder if it’s the active compound.

Do you take L-Acetyl Cystine daily? How much? I took it during 2020 but ran out and didn’t replenish.

What I suspect is that like chemo, if I suppresses metabolic functions cancer will not grow as fast. It is a hungry little fella after all.

I’d imagine if I starve someone it might not grow as fast either.

What do all these this or that drug works a little bit really say? Not sure-

But Ivermectin is useless because it’s an anti-parasitic and Covid is a virus.

Go figure.

I stocked up recently when reports emerged that it was effective at respiratory recovery in COVID patients. Apparently everyone else heard that news, because it’s been hard to find.

I don’t take it daily, but it’s intended as a prophylactic in the event I actually contract COVID.

A prophylactic needs to be used to prevent the disease.

It’s not intended to prevent COVID. It’s intended to prevent lung complications from COVID.

Judging by your recent threads, you might be interested in fenbendazole. It’s a dewormer that some people claim cured their cancer after their doctors gave them a few months to live. Hard reading due to the chronological personal story but try https://www.mycancerstory.rocks/

With delta variant hitting, I grabbed a tube of Ivermectin yesterday. According to my math today, it looks like that tube will do a single at home treatment of 5 doses for one of the four of us. We can’t afford the human pills.

We’ve got meat goats and LGDs here I can use the Ivermectin on if we don’t need it. I have half a tube of Febendazole left which is what I’d been using for them.

Wife’s been working at a nursing home for 10 years and covid had been through there last year and they just had a worker test positive a few days ago so this time it’s probably delta. We haven’t gotten it yet but we also haven’t gotten the flu or a cold in 5 years or so but got them a lot for her first 5 years there. I had major GI issues a few weeks ago and at the same time, she had super low energy so maybe that was covid for us.

VERY INTERESTING:

https://www.nature.com/articles/ja201711

QUOTE:

Antiviral (e.g. HIV, dengue, encephalitis)
Recent research has confounded the belief, held for most of the past 40 years, that ivermectin was devoid of any antiviral characteristics. Ivermectin has been found to potently inhibit replication of the yellow fever virus, with EC50 values in the sub-nanomolar range. It also inhibits replication in several other flaviviruses, including dengue, Japanese encephalitis and tick-borne encephalitis, probably by targeting non-structural 3 helicase activity.97 Ivermectin inhibits dengue viruses and interrupts virus replication, bestowing protection against infection with all distinct virus serotypes, and has unexplored potential as a dengue antiviral.98

Ivermectin has also been demonstrated to be a potent broad-spectrum specific inhibitor of importin α/β-mediated nuclear transport and demonstrates antiviral activity against several RNA viruses by blocking the nuclear trafficking of viral proteins. It has been shown to have potent antiviral action against HIV-1 and dengue viruses, both of which are dependent on the importin protein superfamily for several key cellular processes. Ivermectin may be of import in disrupting HIV-1 integrase in HIV-1 as well as NS-5 (non-structural protein 5) polymerase in dengue viruses.99, 100

Paint bite with clear nail polish.

If you don’t have that, dab meat tenderizer with drop of water on the bite (works great for all kinds of insect bites). Do once an hour until you forget.

I’ll try that. It’s been 3 days and it just won’t go away. Tried baking soda. Maybe it helped, but not much. I’ll keep you posted.

I believe NAC - N-Acetyl-Cysteine - does similar.

In fact, so effectively...they’re now trying to prevent it being sold as an OTC supplement.

I’d read that Amazon already complied, and removed all product. That was a while back...haven’t checked, lately.

The evidence is mounting. Soon Public health will be forced to admit that they made a huge mistake by pushing “Only Vaccine”.
