The man was cognizant, spoke well, explained he wasn't sick or had SARS-CoV-19, Drs confirmed. Then staff said "We don't think you can make decisions for yourself." Need more info, but he pleaded time after time he didn't want shot

When a 24-year-old Dallas County man who’d been jailed Sunday claimed he became sick after traveling abroad, he was taken to Parkland Hospital to see if he developed symptoms of the new coronavirus, a county official said Tuesday.
It also set off a chain reaction that resulted in five police officers temporarily being sent home on Sunday as a precaution because they came in contact with the man.

That depends. My mom left on her own recognizance against medical advice. They refused to give her an official discharge. She called my brother and left anyway. They told her that she would never be allowed back-she said good.
These Men should be arrested and tried for what they did.
I’ve had some issues with being discharged on my desired timing.
Usually some serious persistence has been required.
I suspect that it is becoming a more serious problem in the COVID days.

A patient can refuse treatment and has a legal right to do so.
If a patient is unruly, aggressive or violent security personnel are called and the patient is restrained through the use of ''physical restraint''. ie cuffs and leather leg restraints. The patient is then either placed in a locked ''secure holding unit'', monitored by cctv a nurse and security personnel. If a patient is admitted who is drunk and aggressive or has been bought in by the police they are either put right into a secure holding unit or they're placed in a room and under a ''security watch'' which means a security officer and watched constantly. In the hospital ER I work in Ocean County NJ, the Ocean County jail is half a mile away from the hospital. We routinely have armed correction officers who bring in inmates for treatment and two correction officers stay with them as a ''watch detail''. The same is true for the local cops when they bring in someone . This story is more fear porn to keep us conditioned to be sheep, afraid of a damned injection we've been told with end the ''pandemic''.
what’s the backstory? was he being incarcerated and vaccine is a mandatory part of a signed court order? Was he shown the order? Was he a walk-in? If so, where is the signed consent form? When he asked for ‘a lawyer’ was the in-hospital Patient Advocate called immediately? unless there are good answers to the above, that gentleman is a rich man walking.
And when is the last time you saw a doc give an injection? Let alone 5 docs give one injection? Or docs provide muscle when needed instead of security? This whole thing is so preposterous as to be laughable
