EAT MORE KIM-CHI!....................
Does beer count as a fermented food diet?
Fermented you say? I can do fermented.
bfl
fiber is more for cleansing and clearing out intestinal mucus buildup, getting rid of that layer and the parasites living in it
fiber itself doesnt have replenishing nutrients and enzymes and vitamins, fiber is a cleaner and binder and toxin absorber
fermented foods help feed good gut bacteria and reduce bad bacteria, to get the gut back to a healthy balance
they both have important roles, just different ones
they are not for the same purposes
Good to go with the Old Grand Dad 114.
There was a small pickle named Dill
He was dropped into vinegar to Chill
His job means he’s Workin
To be the crunchiest Gerkin
So he waits for a sandwich to Fill.
I bet the fermentation chemicals are still having an affect on the gut.
Which means the same process that causes decay on fresh fruits and vegetables is being used by the ones causing the inflammatory response.
They compared a diet rich in fermented foods to a high-fiber diet? How silly!
How about comparing to a diet high in chips, pretzels, beer, and brats? Maybe toss in a few Slim Jims for more diet diversity.
Fermented food is very high in histamine and can cause problems in people with allergies.
I can’t even think about touching fermented anything.
One a day? Six?
I used to get diverticulitis about 5 times per year. The medical industry solution is to prescribe one aerobic and one anerobic antibiotic.
I researched and experimented and found that a diet that regularly includes yogurt with live and active cultures could drop that frequency to almost never.
Lately I’ve been enjoying Kefir as well.
The solves the old breakfast dilemma: shredded wheat or pickles
What a coinkydink, I just started heaping sauerkraut on my corn dogs. I knew this was healthy.
Ok, then why are vegetarians in generally poorer health than non-vegetarians? That's an obvious rhetorical question.
More simpleton studies from those who profess to be doing 'science', but they just can't seem to go down the right road.
Trust me folks: It's just a 'bit' more complicated. This is merely one piece of the puzzle, and moot at that when ignoring other factors.
bttt for my wife.
Sounds like the experimenters were very unhappy that the probiotics outperformed the fiber. They were trying to come up with all sorts of explanations of why the fiber failed...
Great article, thanks for posting.
