I got an email today at work from my HR department saying that employees are "required" to take what they call "training on DEI&B". This evidently stands for "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion". I don't know what the "B" is for. Bull?
This has left me with a sick and uneasy feeling. I haven't taken this "training" yet so I don't know what it specifically entails. But I can make reasonable assumptions. I don't see a scenario where I take this thing and I don't come across statements or material that I find objectionable and false in its premises.
Retirement for me is still at least a decade away but it is on my horizon. I would prefer to simply opt out of this.
Can a company truly mandate this and make it a necessary requirement for employment? How is this not political indoctrination? What about MY rights and my freedom of conscience?
The email says I can contact HR with questions. But if I do this I would likely be making myself a target.
Sane people do need to make a stand against the madness of the Left. But is this a hill worth dying on?
I would like to hear your thoughts. Has anyone here had to deal with this at their job?
Do what you Gotta do to keep your job. It’s a personal decision, but I think I would draw the line at them forcing you to humiliate yourself in any manner. Like if you have to declare that you are racist.
Just close your eyes. If they call you out just tell the truth and say you are allerguc to indoctrination.
You may not buy sell or trade or work without the mark.666. Wait till they withhold SS payments until your reeducated.
The B stands for Belonging.
Know what the enemy is doing.
Take notes, or even record it.
See if they are pushing CRT.
Share any bad news with shareholders so they can save themselves… ;-)

One of the positive aspects of working for a large company or corporation is often stability and benefits.
But one of the most annoying downsides is the “mandatory training” they make you do...sexual harassment, diversity, domestic violence, etc.
I used to get a bit crazy about it, because they would force you to watch the video and take the test. And they always had one question that would trip you up, and you had to take the test again.
But about two years ago, I had a revelation.
I realized I didn’t need to watch the videos. It records whether you watch them but...I could put them on and do my work with them minimized. When the video was done, it would tee up the test, and...
To pass the test, all I had to do to pass the test was think like a Leftist. I would put on my “Leftist Hat” and answer the questions like I imagined a Leftist would answer them, and...Voila!
I used to grit my teeth and cuss to get through them, but now? It is like a game to determine how well I know them.
And I know them pretty well, apparently.
Let others do the talking as much as possible.
Move your head up and down when others are doing so.
Try as much as possible to keep both your lips in contact with each other.
Stand up and say the following:
As a white guy I think I deserve reparations as I did not get to participate in the profits from selling the slaves captured by the african tribes.
Oh, man. If only!
Back in the day, they used to force you to go to day long things, there might be role playing, you had to pay attention which I refused to do. I began bringing books to read and laptops, but I got called out once for using the laptop.
Now, it is all electronic and I do it in my office...:)
There’s no test. Just put your earbuds in and listen to reruns of Dan Bongino.
Ask if you can attend remotely, as you aren’t feeling well. Sign on and go have a beer elsewhere....
I would tell the zampolit what he/she/it/they want to hear.
I would also lower my productivity.
“I realized I didn’t need to watch the videos. It records whether you watch them but...I could put them on and do my work with them minimized. When the video was done, it would tee up the test, and...”
That’s what thinking too. I don’t think there’s going to be a quiz afterwards. It will probably just be a mindless, power-point type of presentation where I’m supposed to read captions and click on to the next slide.
But still...it will likely be all BS.
If I was eligible for full retirement benefits and was in my last few weeks, I might enquire about corporate transgender surgery benefits during the session.
Talk is cheap, surgery is expensive.
My company is lining up to mandate similar training. I see anything in there about a presumption of “white privilege” or any other racist BS and I will be filing a complaint with HR. Basically I will name who-ever put together the training, who-ever approved it, who-ever mandated that I take it. I will claim, not unreasonably, that their actions have created a hostile workplace environment. That I feel discriminated against. I won’t bother seeking monetary damages. I will ask for a written apology and that the training be removed and never return in any guise. I’ve already started an outline of my initial email to HR, because I know this is coming.
Just listen but don’t lie. Once you lie you lose your own self-respect and things begin to slide everywhere. Here’s a mantra for you to recite during the worse parts: “A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”
“To pass the test, all I had to do to pass the test was think like a Leftist. I would put on my “Leftist Hat” and answer the questions like I imagined a Leftist would answer them, and...Voila!”
I found that strategy worked for the practice Law School Admission Test tests I did.
On ours, you have to take a test, and some have 25 questions and you have to get all of them right.
I am doing much better at this now...:)
As I said, I treat it like a game.
