Two counties in California have reviewed every COVID-19 fatality, refining the approach to classifying the cause of death. Santa Clara and Alameda County delineated those patients who died due to the illness progression of COVID-19 and those who tested positive at the time of death but were not symptomatic. This exercise reduced the number of COVID-19 deaths in both counties by nearly 25%.
Early in the pandemic, questioning the COVID-19 death count was labeled a conspiracy theory by the corporate media. This position was always absurd based on the very loose criteria put out by the National Center for Health Statistics for counting a COVID-19 death. The ability to presume COVID-19 and place it as a cause of death during a period of perverse financial incentives for hospitals invited inflation of the fatality numbers. Medicare increased payment for COVID-19 patients, and private insurers covered the charges in full. These policies prevented the loss of co-pays and co-insurance unpaid by patients and additional reimbursement from government programs.
Any overpayments at this point are sunk costs. Public health authorities used COVID-19 hospitalizations as a reason to postpone many elective procedures. Not all delays of these procedures were rational, but fear and uncertainty reigned. How this will impact the quality of life and health of many Americans remains to be seen.
Dr. Monica Gandhi, professor of medicine and infectious disease at the University of California San Francisco, believes the CDC will ask all counties to do a similar assessment and believes an accurate accounting matters:

What will hospitals do if they are forced to pay back the huge sums of FedGov $$$ fraudulently acquired by claiming massive COVID deaths falsely?
I’m surprised that it’s only a 25% reduction, I’ve thought it was a a minimum of 33% and probably like 50% or more.
Think about everyone that died via car wreck, gun shot, heart attack, cancer, etc....during this entire pandemic, if someone had a life threatening event, they got tested for Covid and if the test was positive they were record as dying from Covid....
2 million Americans were dying every year BEDFORE Wuhu virus arrived. People die all the time. From thousand different causes. So just because one tested positive asymptomatic, does not mean death was from covid-19.
Ditto with the vaccines. Just because someone was vaccinated and died later does not prove the vaccine caused the death. Like I said, there are thousand different reasons which cause deaths. Deaths are ubiquitous. If you are born, death will follow.
Like American votes, many places just make up the numbers.
Its really hard to trust anyone in government.

I imagine you could subtract AT LEAST 25% off of the Fake News/CDC china virus death ‘counts’, nationally, and still be over the actual/REAL number.
Any one who believes the FRAUDci reported numbers is a mind-numbed fool.
My brother-in-law died early in the “pandemic” and was counted as a “presumptive” Covid death. He never was tested because if you will recall the tests were only available to celebrities and politicians early on. He was on hospice care for inoperable brain cancer which was noted as a comorbidity. It was clear at the time that counting him as a Covid death was a farce as were the vast majority of those counted as Covid deaths.

OK, According to CDC numbers, the average DEATHS IN THE USA FROM ALL CAUSES before the Covid-19 pandemic was not much different from year to year for the past 5 years ( plus or minus 1 to 2% tops ).
Suddenly the EXCESS DEATHS in 2020 to early 2021 ( from all causes ) recorded by the CDC jumped to over 500,000 ( an 18% jump UP from the previous 5 years ).
What factor ( other than Covid-19 ) could have caused this jump?
The main argument against my citing this numbers from those who want to downplay the lethality of this Coronavirus is — DON’T TRUST *ANY* NUMBERS COMING FROM THE GOVERNMENT, MUCH LESS THE CDC.
With this, if not the CDC, which source can we refer to then?

It took me about two seconds to start disregarding the phony "Covid death/Covid infection" numbers back in March-April 2020.
The phony number was only to assist the Media in its TrumpRid19 operations.

Never trust the numbers in a pandemic where the government pays hospitals thousands of dollars for each patient the hospital says has the virus.
That, alone, makes it impossible to determine if the numbers are accurate.
Covid-19 arrived suddenly. People were not aware of it in December-2019,January-2020-February-2020.
Me and my wife boarded a sold out Carnival cruise inlate February-2020 not even slightly aware of covid-19. The ship asked us to sign a small piece of paper saying we had not visited China recently. That was it!
Covid-19 has not shown to be particularly lethal to younger than 60 and in good health. But the older with comorbidities died quickly with covid. So yes, I do believe the number of deaths jumped in 2020.
However those people are now already dead. Between the vaccines and many comorbid people already gone, total deaths could actually drop below average in later half of 2021.

Well, maybe the unprecedented lockdown of society, or the yearlong orgy of violence and criminality that ensued?
I’ve heard people say hospitals were paid extra to treat Covid Patients which caused hospitals and other places to record the deaths as Covid when they clearly did not...
I’ve not seen any evidence that this happened but I believe it’s true...
