Need advice on medical organization "Go Forward"
Go Forward ^ | 6/13/2021 | wastedyears

Posted on 06/13/2021 10:54:00 AM PDT by wastedyears

So here's my thing. I want to find a doctor I could have a long conversation with, who will do some deep, comprehensive testing to find out what's wrong with me (35, male, falling apart). I ask the nurse practitioner I see for a big, comprehensive blood test to see if there are any other problems with me. She asks "what do you want tested." I say I don't know, because I'm not a medical professional and don't know where to start. It's like a circular conversation. Then she tells me to exercise when I have no energy, and tells me she knows it's like a catch-22. Lady, if I had the energy, it wouldn't be a problem.

I found out about Forward via a YouTube ad when trying to watch a video on my tablet. The premise of it is wonderful, and it really seems like the logical evolution in office visits and diagnostic testing. Biometric scanner, huge TV in the exam room, in-house blood testing so you get the results back in less than 20 minutes (so they say). They also say the first visit is an hour long to get a strong baseline for how you and your body are.

The strange thing is it's subscription-based; they don't take health insurance. For what you could potentially gain in a health sense, it's a fantastic deal.

I then went to their 'About Us' link. What did I find? Some of the people involved with the organization:

Ram Shriram - first Google investor, Alphabet board

Patrick Pichette - former Google CFO

Eric Schmidt - former Google CEO

Jessica Powell - former Google VP communications

All of us on here know Google cannot be trusted. The cost of the membership certainly isn't enough to cover just the cost of the doctor's compensation, nevermind their equipment.

This is my hangup with it. I want another professional opinion, but I don't want my medical information sold to the highest bidder. These people think nothing of personal information; what do they care about violating HIPAA laws? New information comes out regularly that some really heinous s**t goes on with the elite. China harvests organs. Children are used as currency and blackmail.

Do I bite the bullet, register and go for a visit?

If you scroll down a bit here, there is a list called, "The Unbelievably Long List of Hypothyroidism Symptoms".

I went through years of absolute hell because my thyroid meds weren't working and I still had most of the hypothyroid symptoms. I recently had my doctor switch me to T3 only and the difference is unbelievable. Most of my symptoms have either greatly diminished or completely disappeared. I don't think my body was converting the T4 to T3 like it was supposed to. It's going to take a while to get the dosing right and spread it out, but I think this is the med for me. I read more about that particular problem here.

We are looking into one for my wife. They charge the lab price for tests, which is trivial compared to the amounts regular insurance is charged.

It is definitely the way to go in my opinion.

Find another doc, I prefer a DO over a MD.

“Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas,”

Been while since I was living in Temple.

Scott and White is now teamed with Baylor, and here in the Flower Mound area, the S&W/Baylor hospital and docs are really good.

As a side note, back in the day, Scott and White in Temple were darned good. Had an ER doc from S&W give a presentation to our police academy class. Told us how he handles rowdy drunks that needed ER help and I saw him do it. I saw him stitch a drunks ears to his mattress and that made the drunk freeze and stop moving. Can’t do that now. . .sadly.

It sounds like you have a chrontic problem. Conventional medicine nicely addresses acute problems, like broken bones, infections, and gunshot wounds. Chronic problems are usually caused by diet, environment, and buildup of toxins from vaccines, medicines, and pollution.

A serious diet cleanup helped me. That’s something easy to do. The best diet I’ve come across is the High Fat Low Carbohydrate, or Keto, diet, with Intermittent Fasting, which is not eating for at least 12-14 hours.

As for doctors, I would see a traditional Chinese medicine doctor, a naturopathic doctor, or a classical homeopathic doctor, or all three. The first two have a focus on chrontic conditions. Homeopaths focus on correcting what may be energetic imbalances. Some scoff at homeopathy but it works very well for some.

“Find yourself a good in person MD, Internal medicine”

For me, I suggest finding yourself a good in person doctor of osteopathic (DO) medicine specialized in internal medicine. For me, in my experience, DOs approach medicine differently that MDs, not saying MDs aren’t good, just I like DOs because in my experience, DOs conduct medicine as a system within systems approach.

I agree with you. Generally MDs only think of drugs and surgery. I always prefer an Osteopath to an MD if that’s the only choice.

You may want to have lab tests done before you go to a MD as you have not found one yet. Many cities have commercial labs where you can order a health screening on your own.
This place may be in your area: https://labtestsonline.org/resources-finding-lab

You would make an appointment and have the labs drawn. I notice they will do an analyses of your tests for a fee but you can take to your chosen MD.

Oops....obviously I meant Chronic and not “Chrontic”. Sloppy typing. My apologies. I wish we had an edit ability at FR

You should direct your suggestion to the person asking for a little guidance. I’m not the one asking for help, merely a suggestion.

Sounds like you have a great doctor-patient relationship. Sometimes they’re hard to find.

Request a healthy physical at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN.

Best diagnostics on the planet.

As a new patient it’ll take a while to be seen, so make the request ASAP.

I second this (osteopathic doctor) We have one that is an excellent diagnostician. Very thorough. And her best quality is the physicians that she has referred us to.

What symptoms are concerning you. This is what the doc or NP or PA needs to know

Weight loss? Pain? Difficulty sleeping? Weight gain?

Asking for unnecessary tests ain’t gonna help you

Troubleshooting 101:

Ask yourself,

“When I take my car into the garage, does the mechanic ask me what I want tested, or do they ask me what’s wrong?”

A good doctor (a rarity these days), will ask you to list your symptoms at a minimum.

I’m not a doctor, but I am an autodidact and learned what I needed to reverse my own health decline, diagnose a condition no doctor would acknowledge (nor has a medical name), and I reversed a TBI condition which doctors had diagnosed as ‘permanent’.

After having declining health with a 35 year undiagnosed health condition, I feel 20 years younger, but am still healing.

I gather that your frustration is borne of negative experience and worsening health. I know it all too well.

If nothing else - assuming you haven’t done so already - immediately begin a ‘health & diet journal’, recording EVERY symptom and EVERYTHING you eat/drink, and all logged by time/date. Also record physical activity & sleep cycles. I highly recommend recording all urinary and bowel events as well. Record ALL pills (vitamins, etc.), ALL medications (both prescriptions & OTC) and ALL drug/alcohol. Omit NOTHING.

Be meticulous & detailed; it could save your life.

And seek references on a good local Naturopath. If one is not local, perhaps the only benefit to the ‘virus’ is the willingness of doctors to do ‘telemedicine’; this can connect you to qualified/experienced Naturopaths without the need for travel for initial consults to steer your treatments, whatever may result.

Best of luck; you’re gonna need it.

Seeing the people involved and the common meaning of that word, I would be wary!

https://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread836229/pg1

The “Forward” slogan isn’t anything new to politics. Wikipedia’s article on the Leftists term forward states:

( Same source as above )

The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other leftwing newspapers and publications. For example, Vpered (Russian language for ‘Forward’) was the name of the publication that Lenin started after having resigned from the Iskra editorial board in 1905 after a clash with Georgi Plekhanov and the Mensheviks.

Just a few examples of the term Forward in Communist/Socialist/Marxist propaganda...these were actual posters, not authentic, but reproductions of originals.

In this example you will see a poster dedicated to Lenin and another poster portraying Stalin and the Forward slogan.

The rest of the posters can be viewed by clicking on the links below

1.Young builders of communism! Forward, to the new success in work and study

2.Great Leap Forward (1956-1960)

3.Strike the battle drum of the Great Leap Forward (Sorry for the error, hit the wrong page)

4.Ride the wind and cleave the waves to realize a Leap Forward

5.”Let’s march Forward under the banner of Mao Zedong!”

6.Sing revolutionary war songs with fervor, and move Forward in victory.

7.Move fast Forward! Construct and protect the Motherland.

8.The motherland doing a leap Forward.

Other examples:

Democrat Socialist Perspective: Socialism the way forward

Communist China:The Great Leap Forward

UK Socialist Party:The way forward for anti-capitalsim

Marxists.org: Can we go forward if we fear to go towards socialism

Marxists.org: Forward to socialist revolution
