Democrats are famous for treating the men and women who would take a bullet for them as their personal valet service.
But few seem to be taking it quite to the level that Kamala Harris has. It ought to be no surprise that she's constantly making life hell for them.
Latest such incident was Harris's insistence on marching in a loud crowd at the gay pride parade in Washington, D.C.
According to Fox News:
Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance at the Pride event in Washington on Saturday but it was one of her protectors who drew the attention of many Twitter users.
Any time a president or vice president mingles with the public becomes a challenge for those charged with guarding them – simply because the situation is less under security’s control.
Much of the Twitter attention was directed at a Secret Service agent near the vice president, a tall man in sunglasses who was seen behind Harris in photos and videos as she traversed the parade area.
"secret service clearly not happy about protectee going for a walk," lawyer George Conway wrote on Twitter.
It's not clear if he was unhappy or not, actually, based on his poker-face appearance, but it's very much a certainty that she created more work for him.
Secret Service agents, for those who know them, maintain that apparent deadpan expression on their faces because they've got the extremely difficult job of reading non-verbal cues and expressions on the faces of all the people in the vicinity of the politician they are protecting, and must not give bad guys any expression or even eye contact to react to.

This article suggests it will be about Kamala making them go shopping for her, then all the examples are basically ‘she made them work hard protecting her because she went into crowds’. Kind of a dud of an article.
And the attendant thought process, ‘How can I be just a hair too slow, without arousing suspicion?...’

The guy in the suit behind her had the good job. What about the secret service agents that had to dress to blend in with the crowd. ;-)

Hillary was and is just a vile person. Secret service agents have described the Hillary detail as a form of punishment, not a job. I’ve read several accounts by different people, and a lot of it in several books.
Came in froma trip, got of the chcopper at the white house, hillary told a secret service guy to carry her luggage. Hetold her that was not h8s job and he could not protect her with jhis hands full. She screamed if you want to keep your f&%cking job pick up that g&% d*^&n bag.
They would get off the chopper holding hands, all [fake] smiles for the cameras and walk to the white house. Elevator doors would close, hillary would start screaming at bill, usually over whatever bimbo he was trying to pick up this time.
One secret service agent after 25 years in the navy, said he had never seen a woman with such a filthy mouth.
She would throw anything at bill she could grab, including itens given tot he white house 100 years before she got there. There was a story about an expensive, antique blue vase. The FBI agent stationed at the white house (who wrote a book about them) had to go to the white house curators office one day, while he waited he looked around and found himself looking at a box with many pieces of that blue vase in it. His job was investigations of every person working in the white house to get them their security clearances. Hill and billary’s people refused to cooperate at all.
The secret service agents assigned to bill had to hold a secret meeting to determine how to protect the president from his own wife.
She had to go ona trip once, and in the middle of the night told the white house porter she wanted 3 tubes of Blistex. e informed her it was around 11pm, nothing was open and the white house did not keep blistex in stock. She absolutely demanded he get it, so he used his own personal car to run around all over DC and find an all night pharmacy, got her blistex and delivered it. He got no thank you, and was never reimbursed for his money or gas.
Many everyday people work at the white house. Pages, messengers, orderlies, housekeeping staff etc. Hillary ordered them not to look at her at all when she walked down the halls. People woould RUN into the nearest office to avoid her temper. One guy couldn’t get away, hid behind the drapes. People on the housekeeping staff quit because of her. Some of them had been there over 10 years. She treated people like dirt. Still does. I have little doubt harris is no different. But she’ll have to work at it if she wants to match hillary.
Look up the book Unlimited Access by Gary Byrne. FBI agent in charge of security clearances, resigned because of bill and hillary. He gives an excellent description of just how ugly, despicable and totally incompetent they were.

Yes— if one were to use this supposed “quote” without some crediting of source, it would be better to make a quote accurate.
There have been, throughout history— fake created propagandistic martyrs and the list is very long. So the quote ought to read

is a person who has notoriety either not having to anything except get killed, or doing what their puppeteers direct them to do in order to be positioned as dead for a cause”. See: George Floyd dead of Fentanyl and other narcotics he commonly used, but made into a martyr to blame police (and the law) for his death.
Most Secret Service agents are good at maintaining a deadpan poker face. Sometimes they open up a little, and I do mean a little. Not much.
I was on the grounds of the 2008 Republican National Convention. I walked by one USSS agent and quietly asked “Well, are the spoiled children behaving?”
His reply was “No”, and there was no disguising the disgust.
I just responded “Say no more, I understand.”

These people have a thankless job. Especially now.
