Why is it difficult for some to ditch the mask post-vaccination?

For a majority of people alive today, the COVID-19 pandemic has been the longest-lasting traumatic event of their lives, leaving them with post-traumatic stress. Kenny noted that the duration of a traumatic event is critical because the feeling of there being no end in sight can amplify anxiety.

At any given time, Kenny said about one in eight people are suffering from an anxiety disorder, and the pandemic likely pushed some who were already close to the edge, over it. He estimated that 5-10% of people had their system shocked so much that they likely flipped into a panic disorder or a generalized anxiety disorder, which could take 4-5 years to event out, he said.

For the average person, Kenny said they should feel substantially better from the pandemic-induced anxiety in about six to 12 months. However, it could be longer for those who are more susceptible to anxiety disorders, or who are going through other traumatic events simultaneously.

“As a psychologist, as I think of society as a single entity, I’d say to this patient: You’ve been through a lot,” Kenny said. “It’s going to get better but it’s going to take longer than you think. Everyone wants it to be fast but, like grief when you lose someone you care about, it’ll take awhile. We shouldn’t put pressure on ourselves to get better quicker than we’re able.

“I think about half of us will be humming along and forgetting about it by this time next year, but for some folks, it’s going to be two, three, even four years.

Because they put fear ahead of common sense. It’s like wearing your Winter boots at the beach in 90 degree weather.

Brainwashing of the feeble minded who think that magical mask protects them from the boogieman.

They are like a dog that has been beaten so often that they don’t know who they can trust so they instinctively react with fear.

I have a relative who like the anonymity. And worries about the shedding spikes; from the experimental subjects.

Stockholm syndrome. They really believe “ I’m from the government and I’m here to help”.

Equating sitting around working from home and or collecting government “stimulus” checks with men who’ve been in combat is sick. Almost as sick as the Karen’s walking around with face diapers still.

I just like being able to stick my tongue out at people and them not know it.

Some people simply love the angst and all the sad BS and needless drama surrounding it. It’s their big excuse and cop-out from being competent, productive citizens. It’s their ticket to be in the wagon instead of helping to pull it. And love being in the badgeless Karen-stasi.

I went to visit some friends this week. On the door was a sign that read: “Mask Free Zone. No Exceptions.” I know they were joking, but I took it as a sign of mental health.

I agree. If folks used their common sense, they would have been less inclined to follow the hysteria.

Remember the run on Anti bacterial soaps and not being able to find any in the stores? Why didn’t folks thing about vinegar, alcohol, ammonia, other products? But folks don’t think for themselves.

Our neighbors were from NYC. They moved here to Atlanta to get away from Covid. They were so Covid conscious yet their home-keeping was dirty. It defies common sense. IMO.

The only “trauma” I experienced since this fiasco began has been my utter disgust at seeing the number of cowardly pansies right here on this website who were not only willing to surrender their own liberties so easily, but had the audacity to scold ME for refusing to join their Branch Covidian cult.

Since I have never worn a mask except when forced to in order to get basic medical care, and I have not had the unapproved “experimental” vaccine, I am not having any trouble getting over anything other than my animosity for fascist governors, government, and fascist woke corporations.

And a lot of them have loved every minute of it. The feeling of being under threat and in great danger, which can only be controlled by sheltering under the wing of government, has made them feel fragile and important at the same time.

And they just don’t want to let it go. They almost resent being expected to go back to reality, especially the blithering, weak young.

When I see human beings STILL wearing masks outdoors, my only thought is how easily the proletariat has been trained to be robots.

If anything, people should be pi33ed off at the tin pot tyrants in New York, Illinois, and California who used the virus as an excuse to go power mad.

Most people have no idea of the small scale of a virus, but I suppose if they did, they’d probably be even more panic stricken.

“Because they put fear ahead of common sense.”

The same reason so many ran out to get the vaccine immediately instead of thinking unemotionally about whether they really needed or wanted it.
