Amber Midthunder, best known for her roles in Legion and Roswell, has reportedly been cast in the lead role in the forthcoming Predator sequel.
The franchise has continued to evolve since Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in the original film back in 1987, with sequels including 1990’s Predator 2, 2010’s Predators, and a 2018 reboot from director Shane Black. Two crossover films, Alien vs. Predator and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, have also featured the iconic alien hunting race.

However, I will predict it will generate box office receipts commensurate with a previous female-centric reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise...so, not very big at all...and that's presuming it gets any kind of theatrical release at all. It may be straight to video.

This is going to be a totally different Predator movie from what every one expects - the build up to their meeting will be thrilling and dramatic as all get out. Then they meet for the first time ... its love at first sight and they walk off into the sunset arm and tentacle.
