I am still having the same problem with your link. I have even restarted my laptop. :-(
You’re welcome LG.
After a month away my own bed was much appreciated. My boys kept things up around my yard. I expected to have a lot of chores facing me when I got back but they seem to have done it all. Unfortunately they didn’t go inside the house and I came home to ants in the kitchen. I’ve got it under control now but had to throw out a bunch of stuff in cabinets.
I can’t even find the megaphone and the BIG screen won’t shrink down.
Thank you for the new thread
:)
Oh. I was CFO for a public employees union, members from many different agencies in NorCal. I was not a member and did not have to be involved in their politics but did have to put up with the rabid lefties, but the pay was worth it.
The public employee unions are main players in the destruction of California and other State and local governments where they have so much power. FDR got one thing right when he said government employees shouldn’t be unionized.
That’s great Weston, great thing to work with children.
Hahaha.
Good to be back.
After traveling to several states I am more optimistic than ever. People are yearning for freedom and lower gas prices.
Much unhappiness with country’s direction. I was in an area for a week that was heavily black. They were going out of their way to say “we don’t all hate white people”.
We are being so lied to by the propaganda media. Even conservative media. It was good to turn everything off and just do some living and listening. The majority of folks are just trying to live their lives.
BLM-Antifa in Portland promises violence “no matter what the verdict is” in the Chauvin trial. This should make it clear that these months of riots have never been about justice but rather is an excuse to be violent & destructive without consequence. #PortlandRiots pic.twitter.com/mlrpRGQCj3— Andy Ngô (@MrAndyNgo) April 20, 2021
I just saw your message. Use the scroll bar to roll the screen up until you see the sound icon, which will be where the screen’s enlargement icon resides in the lower right corner.
I think the sound is always off initially, perhaps as a default courtesy, in case the sound is inadvertently set to maximum as the program opens, otherwise blasting audio to the unprepared.
one doesn’t want to be blasted
What wonderful boys you have.
You have raised them well.
Sorry about those pesky ants.
Correction: Strike this >>> “one doesn’t want to be blasted”
Failed to proofread. Doh!
I am “thumbs under suspenders” proud of my boys (men).
They turned out well in spite of me. All glory to God.
Great report from the trenches. Thanks.
Does my heart good to hear your optimistic words.
I have had to turn off a YUGE portion of the daily news I used to consume, just couldn’t take it anymore.
Looking forward to hearing more from “The Travels and Adventures of Weston.”
Hi there Friend.
Are you on the hiking trail yet?
Weather in the Northwest is nice right now, but rain is forcast starting Saturday and lasting for a week or more.
What parts of the Pacific Crest Trail do you have left to trek?
Will you be going back Fresno way this summer?
Wishing you good health and travels. I did some good fishing on my break. Being in nature does a body good. The soul as well.
“I came home to ants in the kitchen. I’ve got it under control now but had to throw out a bunch of stuff in cabinets.”
Here’s what happened to us in June 1961 when we moved to CA. from WA. My husband had gotten a teaching position there, but that wouldn’t start until August. We had money in our bank back in WA.(not much though) When we got moved into the house we were renting we went shopping for groceries. We had two very young children. Anyway we filled up a grocery cart full and went to check out. They WOULD NOT take our check from out of state and we NEVER had much cash. My husband found he had a dollar or two so decided to buy a bag of Gumdrops. He said they would give us energy. LoL Well the next morning we got up to eat our gumdrops and when we took them out of the cupboard the bag was pitch black. So full of ants you couldn’t see a single gumdrop. Thank God the milkman came the next day and said if we would sign him up for regular delivery he would give us milk, eggs, cottage cheese, FREE right then and later we could pay on credit. Loved that milk man.
My husband couldn’t even get a part time job because when they found out he was already employed by the school district they didn’t want him for just the summer. I was able to find a Temp job at a seniors retirement center. Those were the days. :-)
Good news, weston! Good for you!
The only thing standing between the end of America and a brand new dawn is voter fraud.
