A Canadian Parliament member was caught stark naked in a virtual meeting of the House of Commons.
William Amos, who has represented the Quebec district of Pontiac since 2015, appeared on the screens of his fellow lawmakers completely naked Wednesday. The pandemic has meant many Canadian lawmakers participate in sessions via video conference instead of in person.
... suggesting that parliamentary decorum requires male Parliament members to wear a jacket and tie — and a shirt, underwear and trousers.

Canada disbanded half of its commando units, they had to go somewhere.
Hey it’s a free country, man
It’s called “The Jeffrey Toobin Effect”. And it’s just another unfortunate result of Global Warming.
Unfortunately, one web conferencing service defaults to “Video On.”
If you don’t know this and don’t have your camera covered, you are in for a surprise.
This happened to me at work, but in a more innocent way. The meeting had been going on for 20 minutes when I realized the top part of my head was occasionally getting in view for the remote company. I had logged into their setup.

Are you being paid for your time?
If not, then do as you want - that’s your time.
If yes, then the contract that pays you, also carries conditions. You are free to terminate that contract at any time, for any reason; naturally this means you no longer will be paid, but that is your choice.
So, if your company says “Video Conference” and they want the camera on you, I suggest you make yourself presentable, and do what you are being paid to do. Or the company may opt to exercise the contract it has entered into, and be fully within their rights to terminate the contract and find someone who will uphold the agreement.
See how easy this is

That’s nothing ... I know a country where half the population can tell whether it’s male or female.
Since this is Canada, their complaint should be that he had the heat turned up.
