The Global Firepower ranked the world’s most powerful countries in term of army strength. They examined the defense forces of 137 countries in order to compile the rankings, taking into account manpower, land systems, air power, naval power, resources, logistics, finances and geography covered. (click to see military assets data for each country).
They measure 50 different stats about a country – including each country’s military budget, number of aircraft carriers, available manpower and labor force, to produce a Power Index, in which lower numbers equal more firepower. The index doesn’t take into account Nuclear capabilities; They are not included in the calculation. Also, it doesn’t penalize landlocked nations for lack of a standing navy.
World’s 6th biggest military, Pakistan army is not in the top 10. It stands on 15th place amongst the most powerful armies. Anyway, check out the world’s top 10 most powerful militaries, with some accompanying stats. You may also like to see the list of top 10 countries with strongest armies.

I have that site bookmarked - they have some interesting stuff, but their metrics are not granular enough.
Ranking Germany No. 10 is a joke - maybe on paper they look good, but their equipment is sparse and in ill-repair and troops have poor training (in general).

At one point the German army was using broomsticks during training exercises because they were so under equipped. And with all the money needed to take care of the Muslim invasion can’t see it getting any better.

Theses rankings can be easily scrambled by the implementation and innovation of existing technologies. For example stealthy hard hitting drones delivered from land, submarines, planes and even cruise missiles and directed by pinpoint locating surveillance systems in space and in the air will make almost all naval surface combatants , large formations of ground armor and even foward bases vulnerable, ineffective and obsolete. The deck is being shuffled and its a totally new reality.

Not surprised they put China first. They’re building ships at 5 times our rate, while we’re arguing whether cross-dressers should be allowed to destroy women’s sports.

“It looked to me like they put China third.”
Part of China’s strategy to keep us from responding to their military buildup.

Reading between the lines shows large Asian countries being required to expend most of their resources to (actual) national defense (ie., defending their actual borders/territory).
The US is primarily a bloated expeditionary force, in line with the ‘world cop’ role.

How reliable are the German, British, French, and U.S. militaries? The Western democracies’ willingness to fight has been decreased due to feminism, homosexuals, political correctness, and, in the U.S., racial antagonism. The Asian and Communist nations, and Russia, are nor internally subverted by such doctrines. Poor discipline leads to poor maintenance, and the British, French, and German armed forces are underfunded as well.
