I’ll be going maskless to the early service tomorrow. This is a former church of mine that I attended several years ago until I saw the writing on the walls on how “seeker sensitive” they’ve been.
They require masks until you are seated. How far should I push this?
“I’m not allowed to wear a mask as a condition of my parole . . . “
I’d suggest going to a non fearful church and supporting them while worshipping in the spirit and in truth.
Easter Sunday shouldn’t be any different than any other Sunday and they are truly a biblical church. I don’t like the idea of “special“ services. So that scolding doesn’t hold any water with me.
I won’t be causing a scene unless they cause it. I’ll likely just inconspicuously ask to speak with a higher-up if I’m stopped at the door for no mask. Then I’ll turn and leave if they confirm that I’m not welcome. No one around will likely notice.
Oh, I’m such a revolutionary.
You must have a new church then. Why bother.
I love it!!!
Yep I am happily anticipating a full face worship tomorrow.
2 Cor 3:18
“ 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Cbrost endured the cross and grave for you and you can’t be humble enough to put on a mask for an hour to worship Him you would rather antagonize a congregation on Easter Sunday. Wow. I’m
as anti mask as you get and I will happily wear a mask tomorrow to worship. I didn’t get to go to church last Easter as it was closed. On line worship is just not the same. With your attitude maybe you should try a mosque....
More masks than jellyfish

Tell them if they really believe that masks protect them they should wear them 100% of the time, but taking them off when they get into a pew because somehow sitting magically protects everyone is totally arbitrary and patently ridiculous.
Romans 14:4
Proverbs 16:18-19
Whether you wear a mask or do not wear a mask does not bear on one’s salvation. I would be cautious about trying to cause fights in a Church.
Then you’re not anti-mask, hypocrite.
Enjoy your face diaper tomorrow.
Make sure you video the whole thing. Wear a cheap body cam, so it’s not so obvious, then you can play it here when ya get back. Make it good!
A couple of flirtatious gays came to our church and were holding hands and did an occasional little kiss. Pastor left the pulpit, continuing his message, came and stood alongside them, still speaking. Presently he left off and asked in a quiet voice, “Are you two here to worship God, or to make a statement?”
So that is the real question, I think. BTW, the two desisted, but stayed. They left during the closing prayer and have not been seen there since.
In no way am I equating the two kinds of displays of civil disobedience. Not even in the same universe. Motive is the issue, though.
You should wear a chest-mounted go-pro, at each questioning reply “I have a medical exception” and then post your results to Youtube. Anything less would be an apology.
I really should make a quick run for some popcorn. ;)
Well said.
Face diaper has nothing to do with it. It’s all about worshipping my Lord. If you want to make a stand do it against the government that imposed the mandates not a church trying to keep its doors open. Call me any name you want it doesn’t bother me at all
I bet you complain about BLM hijacking people’s restaurant visits, but how much worse to hijack someone’s worship service for politicized ppe?
I don’t have a body cam, but will try to have my phone recording.
Far, very far.
