What in the F*Ck passes for journalism these days.

$37-190 million impact.....$153 million give or take. Don’t worry about it. That’s a bit of a stretch don’t you think. But then again, Cobb has is being taken over by the Left so who knows where Volkmann lies in the political spectrum.

Another thing, the stadium isn’t in the city of Atlanta anymore. The Braves moved because of the city and its BS and found a home in Cobb County.

It’s just another baseball game. No different than any other series.

When the NFL sent out the RFPs for who wanted the 2024 Super Bowl only one city, New Orleans, submitted a bid. Cities don’t want these things anymore. Due to security and other logistical costs, the amount of money taken in is offset by the amount they payout in OT to all the cops, firemen, EMTs, and everyone else.

And I’m willing to bet that the Republicans in the state, me being one of them, are perfectly ok with the game moving because of the new law. In fact, many, including me, wish it were even stricter.

this is a win for atlanta, guaranteed MLB lost their deposits

as a venue owner, I personally love it when someone cancels, I keep their money and can rent it out to someone else potentially :)

If it cost Atlanta XXX million dollars then it will cost MLB XXX,000 million dollars.

At 70 years old I’ve been a life-long Reds fan, but you could offer me the best seat in the house and I wouldn’t go.

Despite all the truths you’re saying, it is a very big deal to me.

The move to wokeness and punishing conservatives in Georgia because they want to ensure that every LEGAL vote counts while the entire Left Wing establishment declares Georgians to be White Supremacists is the very big deal, not the $$$ costs.

I’m right here in Alabama down I-85 just beyond Auburn, and have on many an occasion gone to Braves games.

No more. I’m out. I’m done.

The LIES used to paint us as racists and rednecks is too much.

MLB says the Georgia bill is discriminatory. In what way? They cannot say because it isn’t.

Don’t black citizens have the right to ensure their vote is safely entered as much as their right to buy alcohol,
by required proof they’re of the legal drinking age, for goodness sake?

MLB can go $#%#$% themselves, I’m done.

Are you being series right now, Brwirbart? How much revenue has Atlanta forgone by shutting its businesses down over the last year? Goodness gracious.

So let me get this straight - the Braves don’t even play in Atlanta anymore, but 13 miles north of Downtown Atlanta in Cumberland, Georgia. That means people who go to the game, will get ripped at the game and then drive their rental cars to ‘the city’ where the hotels are. Seems to me that the Government of Georgia just prevented a whole lot of drunk-driving accidents by helping to rid themselves of the game.

Music, sports weddings, etc. are getting crushed due to covid nonsense

If you cannot put butts in the stadium seats, cause covid, folks will not attend in person and City of Atlanta loses nothing.

Sue for damages.

What provisions are there in the contracts to change venue in absence of natural disaster, disease, or other calamity?

CHINESE COMMIES DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN THAT’S WHY THOSE BUSINESSES AND SPORT INDUSTRIES WITH CHINA CONNECTIONS ARE AFRAID THIS COULD HAPPEN WITH THE GEORGIA ELECTION REFORM
REVIEW THOSE GEORGIA SENATE ELECTION RESULTS

There were a series of fraudulent voting charges here. Were they enforced and corrected before this election took place ? If they weren’t is not a review called for ? They were created with the introduction of Covid 19 which Biden campaign thanks the CCP for doing; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3940857/posts
If the Georgia Secretary of State is in charge of voting he has the responsibility of enforcing the state’s regulations as to who votes. And eliminate those from voter lists who don’t qualify.

Assign prosecutors to personally canvass and investigate. Check if military actually voted by asking them. Identify all voters by checking on legal age their residency and citizenship. If found they do not qualify charge Illegals including state visitors known as snowbirds also include any technical computer fraudulent Italian programming testimony when presenting to the court and get these election results tossed.

LINKED HERE ARE REASONS WHY THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING 90% of the military votes went for Biden ?

This entire cancel culture mania has reached the point of total insanity.

When an league moves a meaningless game to try and show it's indignation over a law that not one of it's members have read, nor understand, they are really just showing it's 'wokeness'.

It is just a teenage gesture of wanting to belong to the cool group.

Delta and coke and amazon jumping in because they are afraid to be out.

Not a single business would promote the idea that they should be barred from knowing the ID of their patrons, from bars to car rentals, hotel, will call windows at mlb games, airline passengers, to check cashing to every event of any kind, ID is required.

Axing a voter for an ID, racisssssssss, bigot, transophobe, homophobe and a coupla more.

Can anything be more hypocritical?

Moving the game may have cost “Atlanta” tens of millions in revenue, but the only revenue the State of Georgia loses will be that from out-of-state visitors; how many people actually travel from other states to attend the game.

Residents of Georgia who no longer will be attending the game will just spend elsewhere, mostly in their communities, the money they would have spent at the game.

So suppose the All Star game were kept in Atlanta, or its environs, as planned? Then what?

Riots, security risks, “burn the place down” from leftist agitators - you name it. I’m not surprised the mayor supported MLB’s decision to move the game. In addition to the opportunity for virtue signalling, she is relieved of a big headache plus she can ingratiate herself with the Democrat pooh-bahs...Maybe Biden will give her a nice job.

Repeating my earlier comment on this:

The city of Atlanta will now lose the prestige and economic benefit of hosting the 2021 All Star Game because of the shameful voting fraud and cheating seen on video. Ruby Freeman and her co-conspirators have not been brought to justice by anyone in the State of Georgia. For this, they should lose the All Star game.

The hallmark of fascism is private businesses becoming arms of the government. It's what seperates communism from fascism, that thin veneer of private industry that is a total unofficial arm of the government. When it happens (as in Nazi Gernamy and modern fascist China - yest China is fascist not communist - we get this stuff. Instead of worrying about profits and revenues large government approved corporations implement official state policies and enforce them ruthlessly on customers and employees.

When I hear about woke companies declaring that they will punish the people of a state for having conservative views my heart breaks a little, because it's fascism and the USA as we knew it, the greatest beacon of progress and freedom in human history, is falling.
