I wanted to purchase a new saute pan to replace my old one. My cooking gear is very important to me, so I did a lot of research until I chose the pot I wanted. And then I found this very expensive pot ON SALE! Whoo-hoo! I tried to order the pot on Wayfair, only to find that other pot connoisseurs had beaten me to all available stock at that terrific sale price. I'd have to wait for the next shipment. That date kept changing, getting delayed. I did some searching and found the pot was also being sold at Target.com, online only, for the same sale price. But it was also out of stock. I signed up at both websites to be notified when it came in. So an hour ago, I received emails from both Target and Wayfair that the pot had come back in stock. I'd only had to wait about 6 weeks, that's all.
I was ecstatic, and went first to Target's website via the link in their email. I tried to put the pot into my cart, only to see a message appear: Sorry, this can't be shipped to your zip code. In a box below was the word Why? I clicked on the box containing Why? and the following appeared:
"We work hard to offer the same selection to all our guests, but some items have shipping restrictions based on zip code."
So now I am being discriminated against because of my zip code? I live in a decent neighborhood and I can't order something because of my zip code?
I'd like to hear from some FRiends whether they've had any experiences like this, whether with Target or another store. And I'm going to inquire of Maryland's state consumer advocate whether this is legal. I think Target is now off my list of stores to shop in.
Wayfair had no qualms about my zip code, although they were charging $4 more for the pot now that it's back in stock. Well worth it to get my pot shipped to MY zip code without prejudice.
They will only sell those to the confused guy in the women’s restroom.
Like (Seinfeld) Elaine’s mess with Chinese food NOT being delivered because of her zip code.
In Hawaii we go through this all the time. A lot of places will not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.
Is it a copper Mauviel pan?
Those are my faves.
Let me know the item number and I can see if itβs deliverable in my zip.
I had no idea you could order pot from target!
Wait until there is another riot and get the BLM discount.

On a related matter, I am surprised Target hasn’t changed its name & logo yet. Both are sooooo not Woke.
You are suffering from “Zip Code Insecurity”...
not enough details
could be any number of reasons including if your zip is rural or if they can’t ship the product due to other limitations...not just because you are in a no go zone
Maybe they get too many porch pirates in your zip?
I’m just guessing.
You patronize Target?
“So now I am being discriminated against because of my zip code? I live in a decent neighborhood and I can’t order something because of my zip code?”
Yea, expected. As the Democrats start to turn the screws, the fact that they’re getting with the larger retailers and shipping firms to red-line Deplorable neighborhoods, or at certain people in those neighborhoods is not a surprise.
But what the heck, we got rid of 2 RINOs and Georgia, so it was worth all of this!!!
The Dr Suess’ books haven’t been removed from you library’s zip code yet. Once the woke police computer gets update they will ship to you.
Target is one of the businesses you should consider reducing or eliminating shopping at. They are racist woketards among other problems.
Are you using a VPN?
“But it was also out of stock.”
All the guns I am looking for are out of stock too.
have never heard of these
you gotta really love to cook to pay $450 for a saute pan

Well, at least the RACIST Mars company has decided to sell their M&Ms to “Karens” even if only their name is “Karen”. The Nazi democrats are pimping the hell out of racism right now. Bitches.
I was shopping online (not at target) for an old fashioned simple radio. I couldn’t buy it because it couldn’t ship to my zip. Like you I was puzzled, never seen this before and no real explanation. This was at the height of the covid crappola. Checked back a week later and there was no mention of the restriction, it now could be shipped fine. Don’t ask me what happened to change anything.
