I don’t think it was the next day. He should have fired him sooner. Giuliani and Bannon defended Sessions.

“Several years ago I moved Matt Bracken from the “definite patriot” column to the “maybe” column.”

I second that motion. Trump won bigly. We all know it.

She’d be getting Palin-ed while a woman was sitting in the White House. An unpleasant, unqualified woman.

Will you grant that we’ve moved on to the dystopia that he wrote/writes about?

You Do make a really Important point. Pompeo has proven deft at whatever he touches and wherever he lands. He was indispensable to Trump. No one could have performed better.

Truly, with foreign heads, MP spoke softly but carried a big stick. The Enemy read him, as Strength personified.

I didn’t mean Trump would ever pick him as VP. I meant he may easily direct us or point us to Pompeo, to support as our nominee, if he, Trump, decides not to run.

Mike looks so happy & confident. Is he crazy, or does he know something? HEE!

I think that Trump SHOULD step aside, but back somebody LIKE De Santis who is NOT De Santis.

De Santis is doing great where he is, and as I plan to move to Florida, I would like to see him serve out his full eight years (#FloridaTermLimits).

I worry it’s all over if the democrats pass that voting rights bill. The house has already. The senate is next. It’s an ugly bill that will keep democrats in power for decades.

Cabinet positions must go through Senate Approval

If we ever want our republic back, we should start by repealing the 17th amendment. Amendment XVII

I agree they were lies, but they were much more believable because Trump wasn’t under a microscope in politics for years as DeSantis.........

Yeah. And Bannon was later fired. And Giuliani should have been fired before he screwed up the post election fiasco.

Trump may have been a corporate genius. But he was a failure when it came to picking trusted aides in DC.

I’m hoping the Supreme Court strikes it down as unconstitutional if it does pass the Senate too (hopefully it won’t), although the Dems seem to have intimidated the Supremes into refusing to do their jobs. Right now we can correct course via state legislatures, but the Dems are insisting on going full authoritarian and stopping them.

Our side really needs to be shedding a lot more light and focus on the fact that the Dems want to supersede all the states and force them to remove all safety guards against voter fraud, making elections meaningless in the entire country. This is so scary all conservatives and Republicans should be focusing primarily on this, and yet even most people on our side don’t know much of what’s going on here. They literally are trying to make US elections among the least secure elections in the world. Most third-world countries with questionable political system would have more secure and meaningful elections than the US would have across the board if this becomes law.

The Dems are literally talking about eliminating democratic elections in this country by mandating that anything goes during the election. There will be nothing to stop someone voting with other people’s ballots, paying people for their ballots, voting multiple times, pressuring others into voting certain ways or to hand over their ballots, illegals voting, people who don’t live where they voted, etc. No one will have to show that they are the person who’s supposed to use that ballot—no ID, no signature matching, no requirements the vote be a legal one. In other words, the worst excesses of the 2020 election will be mandated across the entire country rendering elections an irrelevant joke everywhere permanently. We’ve got to find a way to stop this, even if it means red states refusing to hold fraudulent elections at all.

Do you remember what Trump said when Sessions appointed Herr Mueller?

Then-attorney general Jeff Sessions told the president about his decision to appoint Mueller in May 2017. Trump responded: “Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I’m ------,” Mueller reports, citing notes from Sessions’ chief of staff.

I am surprised that the Democrat bill making all sorts of election fraud easier has not gotten more interest. Unfortunately, I don’t know what we can do to stop it or anything else that the Dems want to pass.
