I don't know where that photo is from, but it's not Chilkat Lake near Haines, AK. Chilkat Lake is surrounded by forest and mountains with some cabins and nice homes dotting the shore. My brother built two homes in that valley back in the 90's before cancer took him at 49.

SE Alaska is home to grizzlies, which are three or four times as big as an outhouse. So it must have been a really really really small bear, or it was a wolverine.
