The Bachelor host Chris Harrison has announced he will no longer appear in the TV special and said he is 'deeply remorseful' for 'excusing historical racism' after he defended a contestant who attended a plantation-themed ball.

Harrison, who has hosted the ABC reality television dating show since 2002, issued a statement on his Instagram Saturday saying he is 'ashamed' of the 'pain' he has caused to people of color and that he is committed to 'evolve and be a better man.'

He will also be 'stepping aside' from the show and will not feature in the After the Final Rose special due to air after the season finale, he said.

So, in addition to attending a Plantation-themed event, here are the alleged “sins” of the contestant that Harrison apparently defended:

- She has pro-police posts on her social media
- She ‘liked’ pics on Social Media from her “MAGA friends”
- She dressed as an Indian at a costume party
- Her parents apparently wore some costumes that are not “woke” enough at their own Halloween party
- Her dad “appears” to be a Trump supporter
- Her dad donated to Winred several times
- Her mom “supports White Christian Nationalist” political candidates

GASP! THE HORROR!!!! She must be CANCELLED and banned from polite society, IMMEDIATELY!!

And all Harrison apparently did was ask if “viewing all this through the lense of 2021 might just be different than it was back in 2018”..

I have been watching Hill Street Blues from the 80s since I missed its original run. I am shocked at some of the language, especially use of the N-word. I am shocked at so much smoking. I am shocked by the hairdos. I am shocked at the bell-bottom slacks some of the undercover guys wear. I am shocked at so many policemen and women taking down bad guys. I am shocked that the cancel culture allows such shows to be streamed.

Something needs to be done about the old TV programs -- snowflakes all over the country are in imminent danger of being exposed to the world of yesteryear.

A "plantation" is just a name for a large farm. In the county I grew up in there were plenty of what were called plantations. Some were downright shabby. The people who owned them were generally just middle class trying to pay off bills and meet payroll. Nothing glamorous like Hollywood portrays. Most certainly nothing oppressive to anyone. I wouldn’t be surprised if the narrative changed. Companies are terrified of negative publicity and I’m sure they had to spin it so that the situation wouldn’t be as bad as it was shaping up to be.

You are correct I believe. I have heard prominent pastors such as Dr. David Jerimiah and Dr. Robert Jeffers of 1st Baptist Dallas both speak that they believe Scripture tells us that the Tribulation Saints will be a harvest even larger than the Church Age Saints. I think this is because everything I have read, including some polls by the Pew Research and others, that it is believed that the TRUE, blood bought, evangelical, Bible believing, non-apostate, Bible following, Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven, believers are maybe, MAYBE 8 to 9% of today’s church. I have heard others say that there will be millions in Churches the first Sunday after the Rapture of the Saints to be with the LORD, wondering where the few are!! They WILL then KNOW that they were not really right with the LORD. They are the cultural Christians. Those who THOUGHT they were Christians because Mama and Daddy, Grandma were Christians, so I must be. And those who went to Church every Sunday all their lives, BUT NEVER MADE that commitment and repented their sins and asked the LORD Jesus Christ to forgive them of their sins and then walked the Christian life as the very best they could. We will all continue to sin, because it is in our nature, that so called sin-gene that we all have thanks to the first Adam. We are forgiven, but we must continue to work to learn not to sin as best we can. I firmly believe that ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. We cannot lose what we have been given. Interestingly your percentages in the 8 - 9% range is close to what I have in mind regarding the True Church.

There are too many who love their sins, make excuses for them and others who sin as well. Abortion, homosexuality, shacking up, drug use, etc ad. nauseum.

I’m also a firm believe in OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved) - there are dozens of Scripture references to it.
