You are correct I believe. I have heard prominent pastors such as Dr. David Jerimiah and Dr. Robert Jeffers of 1st Baptist Dallas both speak that they believe Scripture tells us that the Tribulation Saints will be a harvest even larger than the Church Age Saints. I think this is because everything I have read, including some polls by the Pew Research and others, that it is believed that the TRUE, blood bought, evangelical, Bible believing, non-apostate, Bible following, Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven, believers are maybe, MAYBE 8 to 9% of today’s church. I have heard others say that there will be millions in Churches the first Sunday after the Rapture of the Saints to be with the LORD, wondering where the few are!! They WILL then KNOW that they were not really right with the LORD. They are the cultural Christians. Those who THOUGHT they were Christians because Mama and Daddy, Grandma were Christians, so I must be. And those who went to Church every Sunday all their lives, BUT NEVER MADE that commitment and repented their sins and asked the LORD Jesus Christ to forgive them of their sins and then walked the Christian life as the very best they could. We will all continue to sin, because it is in our nature, that so called sin-gene that we all have thanks to the first Adam. We are forgiven, but we must continue to work to learn not to sin as best we can. I firmly believe that ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. We cannot lose what we have been given. Interestingly your percentages in the 8 - 9% range is close to what I have in mind regarding the True Church.
There are too many who love their sins, make excuses for them and others who sin as well. Abortion, homosexuality, shacking up, drug use, etc ad. nauseum.
When you have “christians” who have prayer groups with unrepentant homosexuals, I have to interject and ask - who are they praying to? Because it is NOT The Great I AM - LORD JESUS.
This is how sick the Loadicean church is. Beyond reproach at this point.
I’m also a firm believe in OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved) - there are dozens of Scripture references to it. The Pharisees and Legalists among us can try to convolute and pollute The Word to say it’s not in Scripture, but they are wrong. I mean, how many times must we be “Born Again”? Fifty? A thousand? Don’t muslims believe in the same philosophy:
Good with God today...then you sin..
Damned to hell tomorrow.
