Said he had major chills and aches, about 5 hours after he got his second shot.
He made sure he got his second shot, and I guess, those were the after effects to him.
He a;so stated that he got a pnemonia shot 6 years ago, and felt the same way.
Just reporting.
I’m 70. I have no desire to get one of these vaccines.
Unless it gives me full authority to live a normal life, no masks, no social distancing.... it isn’t worth the risk.
I’m 70.
Here’s my experience.

I would never to have taken it if retired but I’m still working in hospital.
I had Covid, and then got the two Pfizer shots. Had very minor arm ache with both shots, and the second may have given me a slight headache and achy muscles (although those could be from working out).
Getting those vaccinations has taken a giant monkey off my back. Sure I occasionally wear the mask when I am around crowds of people out of respect, but who cares.
Two ways to look at how they are trying to force a vaccine on us that doesn’t protect anyone:
1. The vaccine will effectively eliminate a large portion of the population within the next 5 years thru modification of our RNA.
2. The vaccine will protect those who have taken it from what they will release next time, thereby ensuring that only compliant people remain while the rest of us are eliminated.
If it doesn’t protect me, or protect my loved ones, why the hell would I take this vaccine that modifies how my cells replicate???
That would not classify as a bad reaction
It’s not bad unless he got the willies.
This is wrong on so many points ir boggles the imagination.
What! Major chills and aches for a vaccine is not a big deal.
As I said that would NOT be a bad reaction
I go to dialysis 3 times a week. The center offered the shots, as they did the flu and pneumonia shots. I got them. The covid shots were a big ‘meh’! No after effects.
Well f'eff you 'doctor", getting chills and aches from a vaccine in my book is a no go.
I would not risk the corona virus shot as I have not even considered a flu shot for nearly a decade.
Yet the folks I know who have had it have had no worse an experience than the regular flu shot. I already know what that would do to me, so no.
That doesn’t sound like a very bad reaction to me. How is he doing now?
Seems the reaction to be like the pneumonia shots in most people. From nothing, to local swelling, to nausea to chills (that’s really rare).
I got both shots, little local swelling the first time, nothing the second.
Actually the pneumonia shots were similar, but worse. I had history of several very nasty pneumonias in my life, they almost killed me couple of times.
I highly recommend to take it! After a year, I finally feel free!
"I drank some cancer causing substance and it didn't give me an immediate stomach ache so I think all is well."
Really?!
Me and the Missus both work in healthcare and so were compelled to take the phizer. The Second shot affected us differently. I suffered nothing real bad. Swelling and mild soreness at the injection site and some mild fatigue. She on the other hand had nausea, vertigo, soreness... Everything. Out of work for a full week.
I think peoples reactions widely vary.
Your doctor is a flaming idiot. Antibiotics kill you gut flora which play an extremely critical role in your overall health. You are setting yourself up for a whole host of health issues.
Been through that. I got critically infected with staph in both lower legs. There wasn’t enough probiotic treatment on the planet to counterbalance what a massive rotating round of antibiotics did to me. Unless you’ve been through it and know of what I speak, the less said, the better. Hideous. The residual damage from the infection put me on permanent disability. The Keflex is just a gatekeeper to head off anything that may try to sneak up on me. He tried to put me on it for two years and I refused because of what happened before, but I got an infection last year and figured what the hell, let’s see what happens. My gut flora seems to have adjusted nicely to it. I’m a physical mess on many levels.
