Been through that. I got critically infected with staph in both lower legs. There wasn’t enough probiotic treatment on the planet to counterbalance what a massive rotating round of antibiotics did to me. Unless you’ve been through it and know of what I speak, the less said, the better. Hideous. The residual damage from the infection put me on permanent disability. The Keflex is just a gatekeeper to head off anything that may try to sneak up on me. He tried to put me on it for two years and I refused because of what happened before, but I got an infection last year and figured what the hell, let’s see what happens. My gut flora seems to have adjusted nicely to it. I’m a physical mess on many levels.

Your gut flora plays a huge role in your immune system. Keeping it in an impaired state is keeping the door open for things to sneak up on you. Close the door.
