He made sure he got his second shot, and I guess, those were the after effects to him.
He a;so stated that he got a pnemonia shot 6 years ago, and felt the same way.
Just reporting.
I’m 70. I have no desire to get one of these vaccines.
Unless it gives me full authority to live a normal life, no masks, no social distancing.... it isn’t worth the risk.
I’m 70.
Here’s my experience.

I would never to have taken it if retired but I’m still working in hospital.
I had Covid, and then got the two Pfizer shots. Had very minor arm ache with both shots, and the second may have given me a slight headache and achy muscles (although those could be from working out).
Getting those vaccinations has taken a giant monkey off my back. Sure I occasionally wear the mask when I am around crowds of people out of respect, but who cares.
That would not classify as a bad reaction
I go to dialysis 3 times a week. The center offered the shots, as they did the flu and pneumonia shots. I got them. The covid shots were a big ‘meh’! No after effects.
I would not risk the corona virus shot as I have not even considered a flu shot for nearly a decade.
Yet the folks I know who have had it have had no worse an experience than the regular flu shot. I already know what that would do to me, so no.
That doesn’t sound like a very bad reaction to me. How is he doing now?
Seems the reaction to be like the pneumonia shots in most people. From nothing, to local swelling, to nausea to chills (that’s really rare).
I got both shots, little local swelling the first time, nothing the second.
Actually the pneumonia shots were similar, but worse. I had history of several very nasty pneumonias in my life, they almost killed me couple of times.
I highly recommend to take it! After a year, I finally feel free!
What all mRNA vaccinated need to worry about is the auto immune after-effects when their bodies encounter covid. Sure, the vaccine will prevent the full on sickness but once Covid is gone the antibodies will attack the cells harboring the mRNA.
After the 1st shot I encountered covid. A week later I had cold, swollen hands, feet, painful fingers and bad heart pangs. I did not get the 2nd shot. I will use the 60% covid-sickness prevention for the 3 years it takes for the mRNA to be eliminated from the body. Don’t want to deal with potential organ failure of a Lupus-like vaccine reaction.
I got my first shot on Thursday. For most of the day yesterday, I didn’t get any relief from my pain meds. In the evening, they started to help again. It was the Moderna vaccine.
Wife and I got first dose of Pfizer 2 days ago. No problems beyond sore shoulder.
I’m 72 this month. Took a flu shot at age 50. Still negatively affected from it. Won’t be taking the Hunan flu vaccine. They’d have to tie me down to give me that shot.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc.
Friend (Male, healthy,40) briefly hospitalized for small bowel obstruction
“Said he had major chills and aches, about 5 hours after he got his second shot.”
That’s it? Many people have similar reactions to vaccines of all kind, including shingles, pneumonia, allergy, and the plain old ordinary influenza vaccine. The reaction means that the body is stimulating antibodies in response to the vaccine. That’s a good thing. I had influenza like symptoms for 12 hours after each dose of the shingles vaccine, and after watching my father suffer from chronic shingles the last eight years of his life, I would gladly suffer 24 hours’ of discomfort than a decade of misery.
We are all ‘just reporting’ our anecdotal experiences ......but I find it helpful!
Two of my neighbors. ......both in their mid to late 70’s......received their second shot this past week
Both said they had minor problems......mostly a sore arm
My 80+ aunt and uncle had their second shot this week as well.....
My aunt had some headache but by the next morning after the shot, she was with my uncle eating pancakes at IHOP
Uncle has comorbidities........he did great! With his second shot!
Now....a lady who works at my Publix supermarket....in her 50’s.....caught Covid and she said she had 5 days of the worse migraine type headache AND horrible gastro trouble.....
She is getting her first vaccine when she recovers
I’m not expecting a zombie apocalypse from these shots, but if anything bad does happen, we know that Pharma and the medical establishment will deny that the bad was in any way related to the vaxx. And I include our resident FR MDs in that assessment. Just remember that they kill 200,000 people here in the US annually due to medical errors, and that our “heroic” frontline medical workers are engaged in mass murder (if by denial of therapeutics or otherwise) in the cv19 wards. When they are not making disgusting tiktok videos that is.
If one must check into a hospital for cv19, be sure to have a solid health POA and an attorney willing to force the issue if the attending MD refuses everything except the ventilator. Thankfully here in Houston, one of our hospitals has the heroic FLCCC team; I would not go anywhere else if I had the choice.
I also have a 72 year old friend who is suffering from a sort of pneumonia after getting his second shot.
A nurse friend in her 60s prepared for the second shot with some analgesic. Rebecca reported “An hour before the shot I took 600mg of ibuprofen and 500mg Tylenol. Then I took that same dosage every 8 hours for the next 48 hours. I did not get sick at all!” Your and my mileage may vary.
