Gina Carano will not be returning to The Mandalorian. Carano has been fired by Lucasfilm / Disney and the Star Wars universe following more inflammatory comments on social media. She just could not top posting. Via The Hollywood Reporter:

She was one the first UFC chicks to fight, and dad was a NFL QB. She’ll be fine.

Frankly, I never would’ve categorized her post as anything that could get someone in trouble. Even in today’s cancel climate.
I am thinking she was trying to get her self fired since they probably told her to stop tweeting conservative stuff all the time. Though I think it’s ridiculous and nothing she said was was all that controversial she must have known eventually it would get her kicked off the show.

I think it is unfortunate that the Jewish Holocaust is considered “special” and “unique”. It really isn’t.
I attended a lecture a few years ago. Wonderful speaker, not really a famous name, but he had been chasing Nazis for decades. He (justifiably) wanted to make Nazis pay for what they had done to the Jews.
After his talk, people asked questions. Some questions were about the mass murders committed by Stalin in roughly the same historical timeframe. The guy just shrugged that off. No interest. What was done to the Jews, you see, was special and unique and the only thing really worth talking about.

I think if you approach things in that way, then you can watch a repetition unfold right in front of your eyes and miss the whole thing. Social hatred of Conservatives? Cancel culture against Conservatives? Calls for violence against Conservatives? [shrug] It’s not at all like the Holocaust, because that involved Jews ...
