I think it is unfortunate that the Jewish Holocaust is considered “special” and “unique”. It really isn’t.

I attended a lecture a few years ago. Wonderful speaker, not really a famous name, but he had been chasing Nazis for decades. He (justifiably) wanted to make Nazis pay for what they had done to the Jews.

After his talk, people asked questions. Some questions were about the mass murders committed by Stalin in roughly the same historical timeframe. The guy just shrugged that off. No interest. What was done to the Jews, you see, was special and unique and the only thing really worth talking about.

Another question was about the Nazis and their violence against homosexuals. The guy just shrugged that off. No interest. What was done to the Jews, you see, was special and unique and the only thing really worth talking about.

Someone asked about the Armenian Genocide, which predated the Jewish Holocaust by a few decades. The guy just shrugged that off. No interest. What was done to the Jews, you see, was special and unique and the only thing really worth talking about.

I think if you approach things in that way, then you can watch a repetition unfold right in front of your eyes and miss the whole thing. Social hatred of Conservatives? Cancel culture against Conservatives? Calls for violence against Conservatives? [shrug] It’s not at all like the Holocaust, because that involved Jews ...

Armenians don’t control the media.
Nor do Rwandans or Cambodians.

You’re on to something..All of these other genocides,(don’t forget Rwanda which the Clinton administration refused to call genocide) get washed away and forgotten..The Armenians have been trying for over 100 years to get Turkey to admit the genocide against them.... If I think you’re garbage, slaughtering you isn’t genocide....

It was the Democratic Party that latched onto the Jewish cause after World War II as many Jews support socialism, despite what it has done to them.

Jewish voters in the US overwhelmingly support Democrats and socialism.

Even supporters of Netanyahu in Israel, support a government heavily involved in providing social benefits.

From a religious perspective, Christians and Jews share much. Politically, not so much.

Same way the Leftist media, historians/academics, et al hold “McCarthyism” up as something it was not.

And yet Nanzism (as pushed by Nanzi Pelosi) IS all of those things and worse. Paranoid hysteria, blacklisting, doxing, beatdowns, death threats, cancel culture, fabrication of “evidence/quotes”, illegal monitoring of communications, etc.

You’re right about that. If you look at poltically-engineered crimes against humanity, Hitler is probably #3 in the world’s worst mass murderers.

#2 being Stalin, with the top mass-murderer in recorded history being Mao. And China continues in that direction today.
