Bananas are a well-known source of potassium... Did you know Potassium is naturally radioactive? Nuclear waste is bagged in yellow which is why bananas are wrapped in yellow.

I use potassium chloride(fake salt) instead of salt so I guess I am covered.

Bananas are high in potassium. They also help with acid reflux. I take two acid reflux pills a day, but because I no longer have my gall bladder, bile is emptied into my small intestine. Despite taking meds, and watching what I eat, I have still had a couple of episodes of waking up with acid reflux in the middle of the night this past year. One was so bad, the crap was coming out of my nose, and my throat was on fire. I was also coughing up small bits of pus for about a week, so I must have aspirated the reflux as well. I have Barrett's esophagus, so that was a concern for me. I called my doctor, and he told me to call him if I developed a fever. I didn't, but it was an experience I'd never had before in my life.
When that bad episode happened, I tried milk, baking soda in water, crackers...nothing helped with the burning until I ate a banana, and the burning immediately went away. The next day I looked online to see if bananas are recommended for acid reflux, and they are. If I've eaten anything fried for supper, I have a banana before I go to bed, and I haven't had any more reflux episodes.

These listed have way too much sugar for me. They mention meat but don’t list any. Some meats have a good supply of potassium.
ex: “Pork, fresh, loin, top loin (chops), boneless,
separable lean and fat, pan-fried, 3oz. 479 mg”

Wild salmon is generally considered to be the best salmon to eat.
Since wild Atlantic salmon isn’t sold, this means that the healthiest salmon is wild Pacific salmon.Dec 2, 2019

Great information!!
Potatoes...what if you made fries in an instapot or whatever they are called? If you make fries, they can be sprayed with EVOO or avocado oil?
I bet other items can be made to taste pretty good and offer a much healthier choice vs frying????

This list sucks. No Yoo-hoo drink.
One 12oz Yoo-hoo has 380mg potassium, 16oz has more than a banana. 440mg I think. I try to have one every few days.
And it’s one of the 4 major food groups too...coffee, chocolate, pizza and hamburger...

You can get too much potassium, also! Check with your doctor/blood test to see if you need more or less. IMHO

Bananas are a well-known source of potassium, but many other foods contain just as much — if not more — of this nutrient. But none of the others can make such a tasty pudding.

Late to the party on this thread but my blood pressure went from 140/100 to 120/70 within a few weeks of putting more potassium in my diet.
Tonight for dinner, I have a pound of grass fed ground beef with a can of crushed tomato, a tube of tomato paste, brussels sprouts, mushrooms and kidney beans. It's sort of like a cross between chili and stew.
