I’m afraid I’ve been misunderstood. My post (crap you call it) was not in anyway a defense of those bad actors inside the Capitol. My post was meant to support the overwhelming majority, the tens of thousands of patriots who rallied behind President Trump. I agree with you that the actions inside were bad and disrespectful.
Understood, and my apologies if I misunderstood your post.
But I sincerely wish that those jerks HAD stayed home, instead of getting off on a stupid ego trip - that is, if they or their handlers did not (as I suspect) have far more nefarious goals.
(And there were lots of innocent but stupid people who followed them in. I suspect those are having serious second thoughts, now...)

Whether he did or didn’t- it doesn’t matter- The “New Truth” according to the left is that he did, and that will be hammered day and night till all the low info folks believe it. The ‘New Truth’ is whatever liberals say it is
I’m sure some of the people who were in the Capitol were there to smash and destroy. But let’s not forget that there was a coordinated plan, I believe by the FBI, to lead protesters directly in the Capitol. It was a trap. There are many videos which in fact show police moving barricades and allowing protesters to enter.
And you are right. Lots of innocent people are having their lives and careers destroyed. Canceled. Because they were caught in this trap.

Judging from some of the firebrands I see here on FR - and have seen for years - I don’t think anyone needed the FBI to ‘lead’ them to the Capitol; and they didn’t need the President to do that, either.
They just needed a relative few people who said, ‘Come On!’; and a lot of fools, pumped-up emotionally and without thinking, fell for it.

Horsesh!t. The only way our President can be blamed is because he held an event. It was an open invitation for the satanic, violent, blm/antifa mobs to stage one of their violent, evil attacks on our nation and blame him for their malice.
We are the salt of the earth, respectable, decent people, they are the scum of the earth. Blame the real terrorists, not decent, law abiding citizens.

Just watched a show on Newsmax (about Vietnam) which was questionable, but the late night host, Gregg Kelly, was very pro-American and not an apologist for the hundreds of thousands of decent Americans who supported the President on the Mall last week.
Looks like I’ve found a new home for news and analysis. Fox has too many squishes and ignoramuses, esp. below the 8:00 PM Tucker Carlson Show.
Let’s see if the new “lineups” at Fox (i.e. time purges) improve their pisspoor, anti-Trump hosts, many of whom are leightweight journalists at best and cowards most of the time re Trump and defending America from the Democrat enemy.
