Judging from some of the firebrands I see here on FR - and have seen for years - I don’t think anyone needed the FBI to ‘lead’ them to the Capitol; and they didn’t need the President to do that, either.
They just needed a relative few people who said, ‘Come On!’; and a lot of fools, pumped-up emotionally and without thinking, fell for it.
(Didn’t one of the more colorful people there have a sign that said ‘Q sent me’???)
