Yep, 8 days ago Predictit had both GOP senators as 60% - 70% favorites to win, then Mitch pulled this crap and both saw their support fall off a cliff.
The sad thing is that now they’ll get the $2,000 anyway, but a whole lot worse. Mitch played chicken and lost.
Mitch had a loser hand and was out flanked by the Democrats. They’ll revisit the issue once they have control anyway... sooo what did Mitch achieve? The average American does not care about the backroom politics of this issue.
Two years ago, just before the midterm elections, Mitch said Sociap Security needed to be cut. Dems ran with his words in ads across the country. Helped them take the House and give Nancy the gavel
I suspected Mitch did it on purpose to set Trump up for House impeachment that helped keep Trump under Mitch’s thumb because Trump needed the Senate for acquittal.
Republicans love being the minority..They are miserable when they are in power..Talk is all they do..They bow down to the dems tantrums ,then do nothing anyway.....,,They are happiest when they are trashing dems and getting buttloads of voters money “to fight the dems”.......
Mitch saying Trump lost a couple of weeks ago hurt the candidates even more.
This GA election was pre-fixed. It was not legitimate. Same exact situation as November. Mitch could’ve sent $20k or $200k to everyone in America and it wouldn’t have altered the outcome.

The Georgia election losses were caused by a couple of generations of renegade breeding and illegitimacy.
I don't believe it for a second. Any Republican voter who was concerned about the china owned deep state democrates taking over our entire government did not suddenly stay home because of a comment about the $2000 dollar checks.
Anyone who was paying attention on Nov. 3rd knows damn well there was never any chance in hell of winning a Venezuela style fake election.
This could have all been different if Mitch supported Trump. Trump would be president, Mitch would have the majority in the Senate and the House would be doing better than before. As it is he screwed it all up... Will they recover? Not if the Democrats cheat and get their way in perpetuity.

As nice as a 2k gift is, it’s not gonna change my life and it’s based on fake assets.
I’m sure it swayed a number of people on the fence.
But perhaps the fix was in anyway, or LIKELY the fix was in.
But let’s be honest, the whole stimulus check thing was quieted down after the 600 check went out until Trump really got mad at only 600 being in the package instead of 2000.
If anybody here doesn’t believe that at least a LITTLE of the reason for Trump’s statements were to #### mitch, they are lying to themselves.
And the only good thing out of tonight WAS seeing mitch get ####ed.
And the only way we were ever gonna get our country back after that nov 3 coup was by fighting...physically.
I’ve said it before..even tonight..that it’s a horrible prospect... but it is also the truth.
No kidding. How the heck does not everyone see this. Exact same tactics playing out. Votes disappearing, machines shutting down, counting until 3am.
The $2,000 checks should have been negotiated as part of the one bill that combined the COVID relief with the massive government funding authorization through the through the end of September 2021.
Once Congress passed that bill and Trump signed it into law, he had no leverage to do anything except post on Twitter and whine about it.
We might want to let the Republican establishment know we are NOT stuck with them. They really really think we will have no choice but to support them even though they have ignored us. THEY ARE WRONG!.
We always have the option to just never vote in a national election again. We can just quit voting and tell every last one of them to go to hell. This does not mean we have to give up one once of our freedoms. In fact when we quit wasting time and money on Washington elections we can focus our power and influence strictly at the state level and start TAKING our freedoms back. We don't need them.
The Republican establishment would seriously soil themselves if they suddenly realize we are done with them and the whole Washington cabal.
Here's just a few ideas.
- Massive wide spread state nullification of federal laws, regulations, rulings and orders.
- States quickly coming together for a convention of states
-Multiple states such as Texas, LA and others joining together and seceding from the US to form a new republic.
I'm sure there are others but the fact is our representative republic is dead and it's time to move on to other ideas.
