Imagine:
Blank ballot paper pre-printed over the entire surface with “Q” codes in permanent inks not visible to the naked eye, and then provided to all states ONLY from the Federal Election Comission to state election offices.
States then use that paper to print the “human readable” ballot in permanent black ink.
Those ballots are then “read” by optical scanners also provided ONLY by the FEC and whose software source code and construction specs are publicly available to all citizens interested.
Those optical scanners then retain all scanned ballots in locked compartments, whose keys are also issued to state elections offices by the FEC......ONLY AFTER THE ELECTION.
No political party wants this.
Any attempt to apply a technological solution to an operational problem will fail. The problem is the corruption, and technology can’t fix that. Technology can only further conceal it.
Just my valueless opinion.
Why bother? Election fraud is exceedingly rare.
why not use an isotopic variant undetectable
for uniqueness, hidden along with a second
hidden internal RFID to follow the movements,
hiding, and destruction of “INCONVENIENT” real ballots.
Good tool for accurately identifying those who do and do not want corrupt elections (although we already have an idea already).
It is not who controls the ballots. It is who counts the votes. Secure paper won’t stop corrupt election officials from adding 500,000 votes for the leftist candidate.
Most times I vote, the number of voters in my precinct are in the low hundreds to low thousands.
Count by hand, have someone else verify the count and report it. Done.
Sure...any system can be hacked at "some" level. But the problem can be treated like a "limit" in math. The idea is to make the possibilities as small as possible.
Yes. I still understand why people don’t see this. The Democrats can cheat now in any and all elections and the precedent has been established that the cheating cannot be questioned. They win. As a fig leaf, they may decide not to win every time, but that’s their choice. Elections now are an illusion. Who has standing to say otherwise?
FEC sends only the number of ballots as a state has registered voters. The "Q" codes can be printed so that those ballots are state (and year) specific. True...the problem cannot be fully eliminated, but can be minimized.
the idea is to make Ballot Counterfeiting OBVIOUS
as salient Evidence.
There are already VIDEOS,
and with clearly marked identified
ballots (like money is) corroborating the
ELECTION THEFT by DNC-[F], heads should roll.
Optical scanners must only count in whole numbers and be blocked from the use of fractional numbers.
The solution is simple. Voting will be by text. Each voter must register and do so with a valid ID and a discrete phone number.
The precedent is firmly established with millions of votes by phone to American Idol.
American women live on their phones. They purchases houses and autos on their phones with very complex financial details easily accomplished. Why then can’t they have the convenience of voting by text
Which is addressed by having the machines available ONLY from the FEC, and having software source code and hardware schematics publicly available.
“Technology Approaches to Enhancing Election Security”
Dominion will get the contract.
“Technology can only further conceal it.”
The Devil is in the details.
If America did the bare minimum of voting security that plenty of other civilized countries do we wouldn’t be in this mess. No need to get fancy. Voter ID (either a license or the city hall can provide a free photo ID for people) , no mail in ballots and paper ballots only.
Since both parties don’t want this I can only assume they both cheat.
And if there is corruption the DOJ and courts will hold the guilty accountable and correct the fraud?
