Apparently both Desantis and Abbott say no more lockdowns now. I don’t believe this is an accurate representation of what is happening. I think Desantis removed mandates and rules and said there would be no more rules. Good for Florida. Abbott, on the other hand, is basically saying the rules won’t get any worse than they are now - BUT THE EXISTING MANDATES AND RULES HAVE NOT BEEN REMOVED. Not good enough from Texas. But I guess I should be happy that my master has said my situation won’t get worse.

Thanksgiving is in their sites because it’s traditional, uniquely American, everybody in the country does at least some little thing for it, and it’s all about the family or close social networks...in other words, the sphere that the government can’t control. Yet.

It sounds like your cousin was at especially high risk of complications and bad outcome from Covid-19 infection.
For your information: deaths are not counted as Covid-19 deaths without laboratory confirmation. Until the testing is done and confirms Covid-19, the death is counted as presumed Covid-19 if the symptoms prior to death supported such a diagnosis.
Those people died...but they did not die from COVID. You seem 100% lefty to me.
