Daughter's friend's mom is in ICU with COVID-19. She is not on ventilator, getting oxygen but going to use feeding tube because when she eats, oxygen goes down. She is early 60s...I don't know of any co-morbidities.
She is too late to use Rendesevir...that could have been used 10 days ago...
Anyone know if Zelenko protocol can be used for a late-case but prior to ventilator...
Any other thoughts or suggestions??
AND PRAYERS FOR ANN and HER FAMILY VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
Thanks!
I have forwarded it on to daughter to share...
Daughter was told friend’s mom is getting some steroids but no mention of IVermectin.
What are Decadron and Pepsis? What is their role?
Can you get the dog heartworm drug through Corsi nation.
I just cant be dealing with trying to figure out horse dosing if a Dr wont prescribe it.
Pepsis may be a typo.
dexamethasone is Decadron. It’s what they gave Trump. Steroid.
Maybe Pepsis means Pepcid. This has been on the recommendation list of many. H2 blocker.
Trump also took that. Unclear if for Covid or for other reasons.
Interestingly, I saw a post back in January on a conspiracy site that said Pepcid, h2 blocker, Prevacid, PPI, and I think Benedryl is what he was telling the mother of his son to get because Covid was going to get bad.
Re-watching this May video triggers nostalgia when numbers were declining, not increasing. You can jump to 1:55 to skip over the cases update and get right to the antioxidants and oxidative stress.
His presentations can be heavy on organic and bio-chemistry, but he does a good job of making it understandable.
Thank you! FR is a lifesaver!
So a dose for 200 pounds is one gram of the 1.87% paste, with six doses per six gram tube. Do I have that right?
Yes, he is one of the reasons I have Glutathione..along with the Dr poster here that I can’t remember his name who is big on it...along with NAC
My Gluathione is in liquid form and refrigerated. I cant remember exactly why but there is a reason. I think hard to absorb so liquid is better.
Yes! (Approximately.)
6 times 200 lb equals 1200 lb. But the tube has enough to treat 1250 lb of horse. So there would be a bit left over.
No need to be exact. The horse dose is 200 mcg/kg, and the people dose is 150-200 mcg/kg, so the horse dose is the high end of the people dose. Also, much higher doses (600 mcg/kg) are safely used in people, so you do not have to worry about giving a bit too much.
If you have to sneak it into the patient, you can hide the paste in something edible like a twinkie, if the patient is able to eat that. The apple flavoring helps.
There is a good comparison of dexamethasone and methylprednisolone by NIH at COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines: Use of Corticosteroids last updated November 3, 2020.
For these drugs, the total daily dose equivalencies to dexamethasone 6 mg (oral or intravenous [IV]) are:
* Prednisone 40 mg
* Methylprednisolone 32 mg
* Hydrocortisone 160 mg
Half-life, duration of action, and frequency of administration vary among corticosteroids.
* Long-acting corticosteroid: dexamethasone; half-life: 36 to 72 hours, administer once daily.
* Intermediate-acting corticosteroids: prednisone and methylprednisolone; half-life: 12 to 36 hours, administer once daily or in two divided doses daily.
For a person weighing 176 lb (80 kg), 150mcg/kg would be 12mg, and 200mcg/kg would be 16mg.
12 mg doses are often cited for simplicity, I think because the pills come as 3mg.
I have seen much higher single doses used (600mcg/kg). And I have seen it used for 5 days in a row.
There is a lot of variety in dosing, but 12mg seems to be plenty, while adding more seems safe. Ivermectin appears to have a very high safety profile.
Interesting...
So you feel the vaccines are safe or is the alternative of catching it worse than risks of new vaccine??
Thank you...
I have not heard about this...Will watch and read about this...Thanks so much...
His whole COVID series is outstanding. He was there at the very beginning. He is a front-line doctor at a hospital in Southern California. You probably can skip some of the very early stuff and get to the more recent videos.
Ping
Some good information posted here!
Did not realize he was one of the Frontline Docs!
No, he isn’t on the Frontline Doc (upper case) team.
He is on the frontline (lower case) of working to treat and save COVID patients in his hospital.
>> when she eats, oxygen goes down
Check to make sure she’s not aspirating her food.
OK, this thread made me order, just in case. I’d been considering before based on some of the early reports/studies. Amazon has a six pack for $20. Cheap preps.
I think the vaccine is safe and I am exposed daily
There is a risk of catching any disease
> hide the paste in something edible like a twinkie
That’s good!
Now I have to figure out how to get this EGCG powder down!
