The unhappiest place on earth? Disney attacks California Gov. Newsom's 'arbitrary' COVID guidelines that will keep Disneyland 'shuttered for the foreseeable future' after state announced further delays to reopening large theme parks

Disney has attacked California Governor Newsom for his 'arbitrary' COVID guidelines that will keep Disneyland 'shuttered for the foreseeable future', after the state announced further delays to reopening large theme parks Tuesday.

Disneyland Resort's President Ken Potrock blasted state officials in a statement Tuesday saying the reopening guidelines are 'unworkable' and will force 'thousands more people out of work'.

The outrage came after the state released protocols for reopening California theme parks Tuesday, revealing it will still be several weeks before Disneyland in Anaheim, California, can start welcoming guests back to the so-called 'Happiest Place on Earth'.

Tensions have been building between the amusement park giant and Newsom as the state continued to keep theme parks shuttered.

Disney CEO Bob Iger resigned from Newsom's COVID-19 economic task force earlier this month as the company announced it had to lay off 28,000 employees across its parks, experiences and products division.

Yeah, kind of hard to sympathize with them since they support the Democrats completely. Enjoy your choices Disney, and quit complaining. After all, you are also in the tank for socialism and against capitalism. Karma is a bitch isn’t it Bob Iger. Poor old Walt must be turning over viciously in his grave seeing what you have done to the empire he created & built, & you and others who preceded you have managed to destroy.

I’d suggest that they close up and move Disneyland to Texas. Except I’m not that interested in seeing Disney do well, and, I am ashamed to say, Texas is actually not that great itself in terms of Covid restrictions.

Maybe they should move it to Utah. The castle would look more at home in the mountains anyway.

They want Elsa Frozen to be lesbian? Nuts. They probably drew her to be a cute platinum blonde to get the dads to take kids to Frozen. Now they want her to be gay? Geeezh

Wow! $400? Is that a family pass?

Our senior rate here is $20/$25 if you aren't a senior. You can actually get pool time if you go in the early morning (before 8:30 am)

All will change after the election. Unfortunately it may take a Civil War to end the Democrat tyranny in the Golden State.

I love Disneyland though, and unfortunately spent $1600 on 4, four day passes in Jan that I haven’t yet been able to use.

We visited Disneyland in August, 1959. Afterwards, we were stunned at how expensive the visit had been. Admission to the park for our family of five, ride tickets, lunch and parking added up to a whopping $30!

I just hope Knott’s Berry Farm in nearby Buena Park survives. My mother worked at their famous Chicken Dinner Restaurant as a waitress and some of the chickens they served came from my uncle’s chicken ranch in Anaheim, which was located where the Star Wars display at Disneyland now stands.

By the time the controlling leftist are done effing over CA, tickets to get into the Disney amusement parks will run about $350 a head.
