I had the bright idea of going to the library on Sunday to get a few books. BAD IDEA.

I walk in and there is this woman sitting at a plastic fold out table. Granted I have the damn mask on but it is not over my nose.

I am walking past the table and this bit*& says, PUT YOUR MASK OVER YOUR NOSE SIR! SIR OVER THE NOSE! I gave her the dirtiest look and walk away.

This is the second time this has happened to me. At a local taco place another witch motioned with her hand for me to put the mask over my nose.

I have lost so much respect for people during this covid crap. Lot of their inner tyrant has come out and try to shame me for no reason.

Of course, unless you are a mouth breather, the mask on but not over the nose does nothing.

I notice it is almost always men daring to go for that nonmask mask approach.

The sheriff actually said he didn’t have time to go out enforcing the mask order, so the city hired these people as part of the health dept., IIRC. DeSantis said that the cities may not collect the fines for the citations they issue, but they’re issuing them anyway.

Out of control tyranny.

I don't wear a mask at the grocery store...I have only had ONE woman quietly mumble 'put your mask on' to me while passing me in the aisle.

My husband was at the grocery, alone in an aisle, and had pulled his mask down to call me on the phone about something. A Karen on a scooter rode by the aisle and yelled to him, “Pull your mask up”.

Look around a little more. I see many of various sexes wearing the mask inappropriately. When I need to show my disgust with the mask-nazis I wear it as a chin warmer.

On the very -- and ever increasingly -- rare occasion that I wear a muzzle anywhere, it never, ever covers my nose and very little covers my chin. Most ignore me or consider me not worth saving, but last week I did have a lisping young lad approach me (within two yards, mind you) and mumble, "Please put your mask on." Politeness being irrelevant to me as far as muzzles are concerned, I simply removed my mask entirely, looked him in the eyes (politely, but intently) and said, "Did you say something? I can't understand what you're saying because you're masked. Please take off your mask and repeat what you said."

Not being a complete intolerant arsehole when it comes to muzzle-wearing (I'm at about 99%), I just turned around and left so the boy wouldn't get too excited or get into trouble with his master.

The best response I have see was from a guy I grew up with. One of these Karen types started walking toward him for not wearing a mask and began the lecture. This guy just gave the look and growled. It still brings a chuckle.

Good one! I moved to a condo community about two years ago and yes, the "Karens" are just the types that gravitate to HOA boards. These are the people who walk around just after Christmas, notating who did not take their wreaths and decorations down on the proscribed date (Jan 5 in my community).

Do what I do.

Get yourself a body cam on Amazon (they aren’t terribly expensive) and have it turned-on and with you when you go into these places.

Then when approached by a Mask Karen tell them about your cam and that they are live in the World Wide Web right now. Ask them for their name and where they work.

You’ll see them run away as if you’d just lit a stick of dynamite.

My parish is in the LaCrosse diocese any singing at church and receiving communion on the tongue strictly forbidden as well as attending without wearing a mask. Had an self appointed usher warn me not to let my mask drop below my nose. Also number allowed to attend strictly regulated. Parish secretary who’s husband is Grand Knight runs local KC council both big democrats, Their house sports 4X8 Biden sign along with local dem candidates known to support queer stuff and abortion.
