Ping!.................
Daks had a tough year.
And the Browns roll on undefeated using the 2nd string.
Dalton looked good coming in, he is set to do very good, great arm, maybe even better decisions. Finally they may give the running game a chance.
We met up with our kid and friend yesterday for an early dinner at a restaurant that had a couple of TVs that are usually showing some sports games. Being in the Austin suburbs, they had the Giants-Cowboys game on. Right after we all sat down, we looked up at the TV *just* as Dak was being injured. It was the first play of the NFL that I watched live this season. I don’t need to see any more.
Just do away with professional sports. Nobody cares about their politics and make watching it a chore.
As I do not watch sports or locan fake news, I have not seen the injury. Are we talking Theismann level injury?
The irony is it was the first game back yesterday for Alex Smith after his injury.
Looks like Dak sustained the injury before even being hit, he planted his foot awkwardly and it just gave out. I don’t know what kind of artificial turf they have at Jerry World, but it sure didn’t help.
I looked into this just out of morbid curiosity. Man, that looks terrible! That had to hurt.
This should make it far easier for him to take a knee.
Ankle injuries suck.
My ankles swelled from August to about Christmas. By my sophomore year in college, after years of football and a year of rugby, I realized that this was not going to feel good when I was in my 60s. I stopped doing it to myself.
Ive seen a few of these fractures. I hope he has plans for after football. He will be needing them.
Ankle injury, huh. I guess that will make it pretty hard to kneel for the National Anthem going forward. This police-supporting American is really having a hard time feeling sorry for him, and wouldn’t honestly mind seeing a few more of these overpaid commie lovers join him in the emergency room.
Can’t believe anyone is still watching these communists
My wife sustained one 2 years ago and it cost us our jobs due to me needing to care for her during the long term, insurance and 2 years of our lives for her to heal properly. For older people like ourselves, this type of injury ca n propagate other problems,
Hope Dax gets well soon.
I saw that on TV and flinched...I immediately said to myself “that’s dislocated”. I’ve always had a bad ankle from a serious sprain when I was thirteen years old. I reinjured it numerous times over the years. It was never repaired, and to this day I depend upon supportive braces to keep it stable. Still playing b’ball 2-4 times a week. But his injury is worse than my cumulative damage, and his profession depends on mobility.
Prayers up for his full recovery, but it will be a long road back.
