The Palestinians' Most Dangerous Enemy Is Archaeology

A 2,000-year-old mikvah (ritual bath) was recently uncovered in the Lower Galilee. Most people probably would never have heard about the discovery if not for the dramatic photos of the entire structure being carried by truck to a nearby kibbutz for preservation.

The remarkable sight of a truck-borne mikvah, however, also makes one pause and reflect on the remarkable implications of the archeological find.

It means that 2,000 years ago, the residents of the Lower Galilee were practicing the exact same religious rituals that Orthodox Jews throughout the world practice today.

Those Galileans, in other words, were Jews. They weren't "Palestinians." The word "Palestine" had not yet been invented. They weren't Arabs or Muslims -- the invasion of the Land of Israel by Muslim fundamentalists from the Arabian Peninsula was still 600 years in the future...

Those meddling archaeologists and their discoveries keep getting in the way of Palestinian propaganda!

...In the Givati Parking Lot excavation in Jerusalem, archaeologists discovered Hebrew-language inscriptions dating back 2,600 years. One was a stone seal with the words "belonging to Ikkar son of Matanyahu." The other was a clay seal impression that read "belonging to Nathan-Melech, servant of the king."

...Elsewhere in Jerusalem, archaeologists uncovered a 2,000-year-old paved road that was used by Jews who made the annual pilgrimage to the capital at the time of the festivals of Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot...

Meanwhile, excavators from the University of North Carolina discovered two stunning mosaics at the site of a 1,600-year-old synagogue near Huqoq in northern Israel. One depicts a scene from the exodus of the Jews from ancient Egypt. The other shows images based on verses in the Torah's book of Daniel.

The word "Palestine" had not yet been invented.

Palestine was the Roman name for Israel. The article is correct that there was no such thing as a "Palestinian".

Hmmm...
Seems as though this is just more supporting evidence for Trump to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize...

Oh... wait!...

It is odd that these supposedly “original inhabitants” should give themselves a name created by one set of invaders ,( the Romans) based on the name of a previous set of invaders,( the Philistines or as archaeologists call them, “The Sea people”)

So, let me get this right. There are people that don’t know or “believe” there were Jews in Galilee 2,000 years ago. Is that correct? I must live in some altered reality for my entire life going all the way back to Sunday school as a child.

Actually, the Romans used “Judæa”, as a translation for the name Yehudah (Judah) into Latin (indicating that it was the land of the Jews), until they merged Judæa with the province of Syria following the Bar Kokhba revolt, creating “Syria Palæstina”.

I had to post that because the keyboard won’t act normal if I type something in Hebrew.

So “Plishtim,” ironically, comes from the root “polash”. Can’t do it in Hebrew because my keyboard freaks out. But “polash” means “to invade”. So when they call themselves “Palestinians,” they are calling themselves invaders, by way of a Latin-ization of a Hebrew word.

Seeing that Mohammedism was not invented until around 630 A.D., one can hardly say that “Palestinian Moslems” own Israel. But then what are facts to such folk.

If Spain was as accommodating as Israel, the Spanish would be having the same problem with the Moors. Those dopes still think it’s Al-Andalus and that the Spaniards stole it from them. Can’t cure stupid.

In other news, Palestinian archeologists claim to have unearthed a 4,000 year old cell phone bomb which proves they were there long before the Jews because the cell phone bomb is well-known to be the only invention of the Palestinians.

DEAD WRONG!! Wash off your keyboard with Holy Water. They also have one great Medical Advance in psychiatry—they invented the Reverse Mental Hospital that takes ordinary inbred mental defectives and marginally normal people and turns them into mass murdering psychotics. Their greatest success is the entire Gaza Strip.

First appearance of that word in the Bible was in Genesis 10:14, BTW, showing their lineage after the flood.

According to Strong’s Dictionary, the root of the word “pelesheth” is “palash”, literally meaning to wallow in the mud.

Don’t know any dictionaries, but in Talmudic parlance a “mavuy mfulash” means an alley that’s open on both sides, i.e. open to invasion. “Polshim” are people who poke around in the ground with sticks, looking for hidden caches of money or other valuables. In modern Hebrew “polshim” means home invaders. It might have concurrent meanings.

Archaeology is inherently dangerous to Muslims. They destroy artifacts of earlier civilizations for that exact reason.

Jewish, Babylonian, and Christian relic sites survived for centuries in Mesopotamia and under Saddam Hussein, but have all been destroyed by today’s muzzies.

Islam is the enemy of all that’s civilized in this world.
