A dump truck was wedged under the bottom of the overpass Saturday around 11:30am.
According to Seminole County Fire Rescue the driver, who was not injured, was able to get out of the truck on his own.
Engineers from FDOT inspected the bridge and found that there was no structural damage only superficial.
Traffic along I-4 and on SR-436 was not affected by the crash.

Our road commissioner, in Bolton, VT did this many years ago.
He was sanding in the winter, going down Bolton Notch road, with the body up to get the last of the sand out.
Then he encountered the concrete road culvert under I-89.
The truck looked pretty "the same, but not much different".
Bent the frame of the truck, totaling it.
No damage to the culvert.
No damage to the road commissioner other then never being able to live it down.

There’s a YouTube channel dedicated to a low-clearance bridge that gets rammed all the time.

Yup, looks like it was a work zone and he dumped a load somewhere nearby and took off with the bed up. He’ll be taking a drug test later today and then probably collecting his things from work, regardless of the drug test results.
