How the Trump campaign came to court QAnon, the online conspiracy movement identified by the FBI as a violent threat
Washington Post ^

The viral online movement, which took root on Internet message boards in the fall of 2017 with posts from a self-proclaimed government insider identified as “Q,” has triggered violent acts and occasional criminal cases. Its effects were catalogued last year in an FBI intelligence bulletin listing QAnon among the “anti-government, identity-based, and fringe political conspiracy theories” that “very likely motivate some domestic extremists to commit criminal, sometimes violent activity.”

The Trump campaign’s director of press communications, for example, went on a QAnon program and urged listeners to “sign up and attend a Trump Victory Leadership Initiative training.” QAnon iconography has appeared in official campaign advertisements targeting battleground states. And the White House’s director of social media and deputy chief of staff for communications, Dan Scavino, has gone from endorsing praise from QAnon accounts to posting their memes himself.

The president has repeatedly elevated its digital foot soldiers, sharing their tweets more than a dozen times on the Fourth of July alone. His middle son, Eric, who is 36 and a campaign surrogate, recently posted, and then deleted, an image drumming up support for his father’s Tulsa rally that included a giant “Q” and the text, “Where we go one, we go all.”

Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his communications with a Russian diplomat in late 2016, recently recorded a video of himself repeating an oath originating on 8kun, a message board where Q, who claims high-level security clearance, posts esoteric references and half-baked ideas that followers call “bread crumbs.”

“Where we go one, we go all,” intoned Flynn, his right hand raised, at the end of the oath, which otherwise follows a generic script administered to new members of Congress. Flynn did not respond to a text message seeking comment

At least the FBI found a group they think is a threat to America. God knows they never considered Islam or BLM a problem.

I’ve never read anything in the press that had the first clue about Q.

posts from a self-proclaimed government insider identified as “Q,” has triggered violent acts and occasional criminal cases.

While BLM has mostly peaceful protests.

See how this propaganda works...”Triggered” is the dog
whistle. I don’t follow Q but it’s evident we do NOT
know the whole workings of the shadow lefts manipulation
of our government/academia and media.

Violent threat? LOL. A bunch of tinfoilhatters hiding from HAARP.

Actually this isn’t so funny. The FBI also says that a tiny handful of supremacist nuts hiding out in Idaho are a grave risk. All the while actual violent revolution is given a pass.

FBI intelligence bulletin. No doubt put together by acolytes of the Deep State.

A violent threat? If the Compost would take a minute to visit the Q threads around here, they would see a bunch of boring old people chit chatting away like old women in a sewing circle.

The “anti muslim” in Michael Flynn was deemed to be a violent threat against the Obama government and “his” America.
Thusly he had to be silenced and tossed in jail, never to be heard from again. Just like any tyrant would do to the opposition.
But then again the whole FBI, CIA, DOJ and militaries embedded marxists-muslims coalesced and now none of them want to be “unmasked”.

“Where we go one, we go all,”

Flynn like myself took an oath to defend the Constitution.
That oath has not been rescinded no matter how much
democrats trample on it.

I believe the Qtards must have a hell of a PR agent.

I’ve seen Sunday School classes that were more violent. But lucky for Qtards, they are perceived as conspiracy kooks.

When in fact they are a bunch of wanna-bes pretending to know something.

“Fringe political conspiracies” from the right? Methinks they protest too much! It was the left that concocted most of the wacky conspiracy theories, some of them real doozies. For one thing, contrary to popular belief the moon landing hoax conspiracy started with the Communist Workers Party years before Alex Jones was even thought of. Their best one yet, the one IMHO should be the gold standard by which all other conspiracy kookery be judged was in 1981 when Gus Hall, whom fmr CIA director John Brennan bragged about voting for Pres, claimed that John Lennon was murdered by the CIA. The Trump Russia collusion crap was lame by comparison
