What is the difference between Voting by Mail and Absentee Voting?
Ah, the early days of just clearing browser cache to vote as often as you’d like.
Then there was the balloting tied to email addresses, where one could set up 30 accounts and vote them all every day.
And scripting all that.
True !!!
Thereafter, the Democrat party in the state ceased to lose elections.
absentee ballots are so few in number they rarely get counted. Mail in ballots are so numerous they never get counted.
Requesting a ballot with identication.

AZ is a hybrid. I’ve voted my mail (not absentee, but a ballot is sent to me for each election) for many years - but in-person voting is also available.
Thank you sir, for your service & for asking!
Even if they actually address the ballot to every registered voter, how many of those are going to be dead, no longer in the state, or otherwise ineligible to vote?
If you live in the average apartment building, when someone moves out without a forwarding address, their mail just piles up in the lobby under the mailboxes - ripe for anyone to go around and harvest, and use in whatever way they want.
In my state, to vote absentee, you have to request an absentee ballot, explaining your reason/need, and they send it to you. It’s not just a matter of mailing out ballots to everyone, as mail-in voting would be.
Someone else here noted that pre-paid mail, as this would probably be, isn’t tracked by the post office. How do you know if your ballot even made it to its destination, or when? Who is going to keep a record, and how, if you want to track whether your vote was registered?
There are lots of reasons why mail-in voting is dangerous - fraud, long delays in counting and knowing results; and lots of legal disputes will arise.
For all practical purposes? Nothing.
absentee ballots also have to be postmarked by election day... or they are not counted...
voting by mail has no limits so far...
What is the difference between Voting by Mail and Absentee Voting?
Absentee Voting - They mail out REQUESTED ballots, maybe 10%, to people. get maybe 98% of them back, properly filled out and certifiable.
Voting by Mail - They mail out 100% of the ballots to every listed voter. they get back 110% of them..................
Some states or communities allow early
voting in person a couple weeks before
the election.Had to sign with my name
and address (don’t think I had to
show ID IIRC) at the one polling place in my city that had it—City Hall, Beverly
MA. I wasn’t even going to be out
of town on election day. It was the
general election in 2016 and I
voted Trump.
The requires a request and a valid reason, the other is fraudulent push for ballot mischief?
“”””Mail in Voting”:
Actual ballots get mass-mailed to every possible voter at every address - not knowing if they are a valid voter, if they even live there, or if they’re even alive.
ANYONE can get ahold of that ballot, fill it out and mail it in. ANYONE.”””
1. ANYONE on the voter registration rolls would be sent a ballot
2. ANYONE who lived at the address where the ballot was sent could get a hold of the ballot
3. ANYONE could fill it out
4. ANYONE could sign the outside of the envelope that the ballot is mailed back. (ANYONE, Knowing that if millions of ballots are mailed back, the election supervisors will not be able to check any of the signatures on file).
I have voted absentee many times in two different states and both states require that I signed the outside of the envelope used to mail the ballot back to the election supervisor.
Point #4 is critical. The Democrats know that the election supervisors will not have the time to compare signatures if millions of ballots are mass mailed to every registered voter.
Lol
Are we to assume this means we can vote twice in the upcoming election? ..................................... Take any extra mail in ballot you received, and I am sure if you take to any DNC office, they will pay you for it, or give you a scratch off lottery ticket.
