"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

It has been my practice every year to spend four or five or
six hundred dollars on high quality, maximum citizen legal
size mortars at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe fireworks
shops, and take the permit they give you with your purchase
to one of the designated areas of the lake and join the
hundreds of other people doing the same thing.
Some of really dedicated ones bring even more than me! LOL!
Not this year.
I’m bummed. It may be the first year of my life without fireworks.
When I was little, they were my BEST birthday presents!
They have been my birthday present to myself and everyone I
got to share them with, ever since.
So, so much is being taken from us.

That speech was a game changer. The right tone just at the right time. The outrage of what the enemies of the United States are doing has just been perfectly crystallized in the minds of millions of patriots. The American people will rise up and fight.
