It has been my practice every year to spend four or five or
six hundred dollars on high quality, maximum citizen legal
size mortars at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe fireworks
shops, and take the permit they give you with your purchase
to one of the designated areas of the lake and join the
hundreds of other people doing the same thing.

Some of really dedicated ones bring even more than me! LOL!

Not this year.

I’m bummed. It may be the first year of my life without fireworks.

When I was little, they were my BEST birthday presents!

They have been my birthday present to myself and everyone I
got to share them with, ever since.

So, so much is being taken from us.

If YOU get to do any fireworks where you are at, please share some of it with us here if you can. Thank you.

Sorry for you Easy. We’ve had fireworks going off all up and down the street for over a week. IIRC, the usual fireworks stuff has been canceled here, except for some sort of display-wasn’t sure what they were talking about.

Usually where we live on one of tallest hills, we can see the fireworks from our own back yard without a need to get in the middle of crowds for the public displays. When the kids and grand kids were little we always had fireworks in our back yard too.

We just plan to watch the neighbors and whatever we can see from our hill top, unless the great-grand kids show up out of the blue—they live too far away though and even more out in the booties than we do-so not likely.

That sounds like a blast. Hopefully sanity will return by next July 4th and you’ll be able to celebrate the destruction of the Deep State in true style.

I feel your pain. The yearly fireworks in our small town in (M)assachusetts was cancelled for the first time this year. There’s a general store across from the DPW and basebaall field where they set the fireworks off. He let’s me park in his lot every year. I’m putting his children through college via my beer purchases. I’m in and out in a flash and never get caught in the resulting traffic.

Nope, not this year.

The fireworks after the speech more than made up for it. There were some in there I’ve never seen before.

King George III says fireworks are illegal, start fires, and you must wear a mask to show your compliance with nonsensical official decrees.

Sorry about that Easy... maybe you could do like we do in El Dorado County - we'll shoot off thousands of dollars worth of lead into the atmosphere.

Happy birthday tomorrow?? Sorry about the lack of fireworks, the lack of celebrating a great day for our country.

I love fireworks, illegal here in San Diego county and most of Commiefornia.

But, someone has been shooting either a rifle or AR15 every night for the past 2 weeks. Dh said it sounded like an AR. Fun times!
